On that note, are Riders fan even football fans or just looking for an excuse to party? Ok, that was somewhat unfair cause I sat beside a group that were very knowledgeable and very into the game. Funny you mention that. For years when i used to come to Stamps games when I was young I never understood why the Stamps fans cheered when their team was on offence and not when they were on defence. I don't notice it as much anymore but it used to be really bad.

Was at Taylor field last week and the place was a graveyard when we were over the ball and it was absolutely deafening when TO was.

This team is incapable of "turning it on" - if they could just turn it on, doing so against Sask with the West division in the balance would have been a good time, but once again the O blows easy plays due to lack of concentration and execution, and the D gives up HUGE yardage to a crap QB like Duran Durant.

It wasn't helmet to helmet or anything else. It is called unnecessary roughness but that one label covers about 10 different scenarios. It WAS NOT roughing the passer (which covers late and dirty hits including helmet to helmet and helmet first contact)

Also, please, for the LOVE OF GOD learn the rules about pyramiding before you start posting like you know what you are talking about:

It was clearly pyramiding. CLEARLY. No ref in the world can miss it. The reason it is almost never called is because it is rarely used and rarely successful.


Either way I thought it was a great game. Riders were about an inch away from winning on that last play to tie it. If our db gets his hand on that ball the game is over. Great throw and a great catch though. So close for the Riders though.

So much bias I don't know where to begin. The Stamps gave up an 8 pt lead with under 3 min left and they're lucky to tie the game?? Look, we all get the bad call and Rider nation is up in arms...but anytime you are up by a touchdown and converted 2 pt convert with under 3 min left a win should be in the bag. To say the stamps are the lucky ones here is pretty laughable.

Wait...what? I could be wrong here and am too lazy to go back and check, but didn't Ralph make the TD catch for the tie on 1st and goal? If the DB breaks up the pass the Riders don't necessarily win, there would have been two more downs and given how close to the endzone the Stamps were they likely would have punched it in anyway.

You clearly can't read, nor did you take my suggestion to learn because I already pointed out that bolded part was an extension of my comment about Burris saying they were lucky not to lose, which I only posted because I thought it was interesting that he'd be that up front and because the poster I was originally responding to seemed to think the Riders got lucky but that the Stamps sucked. (or something like that) And since he isn't 12 years old, he managed to respond like an adult.

Please, next time let us adults have a nice discussion about the CFL without dumbing down our thread with your stupidity. I'm really serious. Who is the one name calling here? I HAVE read your post. I've read many of your posts re the riders. I pointed out bias, which I felt there was. How have I purposely acted as a moron exactly in this scenario?

I thought it was second and 2 and they still could have picked up a first down without getting a TD, but I could be wrong.

I think Joffrey would have got the two yards as it has been shown over the past two years that the Riders have a real tough time with him and was shocked they didn't just give it to him until he scored from that distance.

We should of gone for a two point conversion when we scored with like 3 minutes left in regulation. If we get it the games pretty much over, if we dont its still a seven point lead and I doubt the Riders would have gone for the two point conversion.
