My guess now is that English is his/her second language. Since I've started thinking this, I've laid off... even though I once was thanked in a post for mocking him/her. If the poster is not ESL, than WDF?
Here's another question:
Why do I see so many double posts with a "nm" and sooo many edited posts edited mere minutes after they were posted? Do most posters not 'preview post' their messages before posting?

I have asked before and he/she claims that is not the case. 
We are not the only ones to give him/her a hard time so you would think that if you were ESL you would take the advice and learn from it. Or do they think we are all crazy putting our periods right after the last word.

LannyMacDonald was banned because he was actually a Canucks fan.
I know we're not supposed to talk about banned posters, but he was one of the most utterly humourless people I have ever met on the tubes. Guy could never get a joke.

He was one of the posters I really enjoyed reading on CP. His arguments were well thought out and articulated. Yeah he got personal when he was arguing, but that just added to the entertainment factor for me.
I'm sure you're joking about him being a Canuck fan. He seemed to have a lot of passion for the Flames.

Ok so okotoker = Andrew Ference, who is the other current/ex NHLer that posts on the boards?
I think I remember an old timer being mentioned a while back but I am drawing blanks.. NYI for some reason comes up in my head. Am I close?

I think it was someone's dad that played for the Islanders. I can't think of the player or even if that is the right team but I'm 99% sure we have at least one ex-NHLer kids here.
I just couldn't imagine why or what good would come out of being an active player joining up on this board. You would see your name pop up one week with a thread "I like insert name" then two games later after a -3 game you would see "Trade insert name!!!"

Bingo is D'Arcy Mcgrath (sp?) and Jiri is Grant Farhall.
You'll occasionally hear Grant on the Fan or on 660 doing the sports updates. Watch out though he hates Anaheim and likes to call them the Dicks instead of the Ducks.
I know I'm a little late to the party but I couldn't resist making that reference.
