I just checked mine for the first time ever. Somehow 629 people have felt obliged to thank my mostly rambling, almost always sarcastic posts.

I don't know what is more shocking... that a lawyer is the most thanked person on this forum, or that I am top ten.
I guess Trout is proof that lawyers can be good people too. |

For the record, I would definitely LIKE a "No Thanks" option. But at the same time I would also like an "Agree" and "Disagree" button.
 No Thanks----Disagree----Agree----Thanks

Between those four only the "mehs" are missing, and not needed anyway.

Disagreeing and No Thanks are two different levels, likewise Agreeing and Thanks would be too.

I know it is most likely beyond what you want to do with the software Photon, but having ONLY a Thanks feature doesn't balance out the communities thoughts.

If there was a way to do this, that would be awesome.

If not, maybe there could be a No Thanks button (or similar) and have it act like a youtube thumbs down, where if it has several more no thanks votes than Thanks, it would hide the post.

That also may be way out of range of the software's limitations.

I guess I could just put people like Sinatra on ignore...

I think enemy fans already get a rough ride at CP, last thing I think we should do is essentially delete unpopular posts.

I realize you're targeting stupid posts, but that feature would end up in a flame-war based on popularity.

I think a "No Thanks" feature would breed negativity, and just turn the forum into a constant pissing match.
If someone doesn't have anything nice to say, it's best not to say it at all.

Is it just me, or did the Thanks function disappear?
I only see the option to quote, multiquote, or report, but no Thumbs up button
