Really bad in other words.

Haha I was laughing about that yesterday, how the Jets wore their old NY Titans throwbacks while playing the Titans. That's a dick move.
Those Seahawks jerseys were burning my retina, but there was something about them I didn't mind...

I wonder how many years Davis keeps Russel... I'm guessing another 3.

I bet they draft one of the big qb's coming out next year... who ever falls to the 2nd...

Do you mean 2nd best QB available or a QB that will be available in the 2nd round?
If it's the former, then it's too early. They've invested a lot of guaranteed money in Russell and can't afford 2 unproven young QBs.
If it's the latter, I would be very interested. Not Tebow though.

So far? I've got no complaints, I still stand by the fact that I wanted Oher, and his play has only reaffirmed that.
But having Harvin and Peterson on the field makes it pretty potent duo, which makes it hard to defenses to key in on just one guy. Both dangerous open field runners.

Well it isn't even October yet and I'm looking forward to the draft. Looks like stiff competition for the first overall pick this coming year. Could we see two teams finish 0-16? What is the tie-breaker in that scenario? At this point I can't see the Chiefs winning a game this season. Haley is in way over his head, and Pioli just can't seem to build a winner with New England cast aways.

Gore is going to get an MRI.
Early word is that the "strain" he got on the first carry is unrelated to the "sprain" he got against the Seahawks.
And the Mike Singletary QoTD (regarding dealing with tough loses): "Winners let it go. Winners move forward. I think losers wallow in it."

ESPN Sportscenter just reported that Chad Pennington is out for the season as he needs shoulder surgery.

2nd round... I think Jacksonville will get Tebow in the first in a huge reach, because he will bring them back to selling games out. I hope he is good for their sake.

He decent. 2nd rounder out of Alabama, IIRC. I would pick him up because if Gore's out, he's the undisputed starting RB on the 49ers and Singletary is going to stick with the run game with either Gore of Coffee (as he did against the Vikings).

I actually drafted Coffee, but I cut him last week to bring in another reciever. I have picked him up dropping Pennington if he clears waivers.

Coffee was planned to be the power back. Yes, Gore does that, but with lots of power running planned they picked up Coffee to be able to keep it up. I don't thik he is as polished as Gore but he will get lots of carries. And it is hard to judge Coffee against the Vikings run D.
Who you may want to keep an eye out for is Kory Sheets. With the Rams, then Falcons then Bye week there is talk that if there is any question about Gore they may hold him out until after the bye to make sure he is 100%. If that happens then the 49ers will activate Sheets off the practice squad. He had a very good camp and it was a surprise that he didn't make the team out of camp. Sheets is more of a faster, nimble back that will make you miss rather than bowl you over.

Looks like last season was an aberration and the Dolphins are going to have another horrible season.

IMO, even if CP was healthy, I think it was time for the Fins to play Henne and find out what they have in him.

They should unless Romo is blind.
Gruden looks goooood. If the Cowboys lose they should fire Phillips and hire Gruden!

Try throwing to your teammates, Romo. If you do, all will be well.
