As mentioned, Wallace has an ok game, but when push comes to shove, a loss. 2 missed makeable FG's were the difference, miss one and that game was headed to OT, but also Wallace couldn't make it count when it mattered and punch it in.

Case in point, engineered a great 2 min 4th q drive, but then dried up big time when it got to sweaty palms time and missed on some short passes on 3rd and 4th down with the goal line in sight.

Good enough for a backup? Sure I guess, but he's been in the league for 5 years+ and has started 13 games, half of those last year. Clearly doesn't have the killer instinct or nerves to pull through when it matters. You can roll out all the injuries as excuses, but a winable game for the Seahawks goes bye bye.

Colts always scare me with a lead with how soft the defense can be and how poor they run the ball. This game is far from over but man does Manning look on again

He may be the most clutch kicker of all time but Vinateri's time has passed and he's a below average kicker.

Him or Larry Fitzgerald. Hard to argue with either.

Man the Colts defense has really bounced back tonight. Two huge red zone turnovers and they just beat Warner up. Two primetime games on the road back to back on a short week...very impressive.

Matt Leinart sighting if the Cardinals get the ball back!

The NFL continues to be the single most intriguing pro sprts league going.

And Cincy is for real from what i have seen...that Odom fella is a freaking monster.

And all those that said Favre should be put out to pasture, yet again..what say you now? Minnesota is not 3-0 without him and the team has bought in.

Green Bay/ Minny next Monday. Do NOT like the pack's chances.

Great win tonight! I expected the game to be closer then it was but the 2 turnovers inside the 5 yard line were huge. Manning/Wayne is the best combo in the league. Wayne made 2 awesome catches tonight. It's so fun to watch those two. I'm also really like how Garcon has stepped up since Gonzalez went down. This kid is for real. Donald Brown has also been impressive in his first 3 games.

3-0 now and a 2 game lead in the division (3 on the Titans which is crazy).

Next up: at home vs Seattle.

Go Colts!

Dumervil got 2 more sacks today as well. Hopefully he continues to fly under the radar.

Denver's defense is clearly much improved. 644 yards and 16 points given up in 3 games is awesome, no matter who the opponents are.

Again, I predicted 4-0 start, 6-10 finish but the defense has given me a little hope that they might do a bit better.

Arizona's offensive line is abysmal.

The two teams that started the year off, Steelers and Titans, both have themselves some crucial games next week. Don't wanna call it a must win yet (maybe for the Titans)

Anybody see Mike Tomlin's post game press conference?

That guy is awesome.

Dis - Broncos looked good. Between McFadden coughing up the ball 3 times and Russel being the worst QB in the history of football (he did complete over 50% of his passes though... 12/21, IIRC), the Raiders didn't have a chance.

Sigh. Looks like 3rd in the division and 5-6 wins is about as good as it could possibly get with the Raiders this year. They're not even pretenders to be 8-8 (I have to admit, after the Chargers game and even against the lowly Chiefs, I thought the Raiders had it in them to beat a couple teams in the "next level" of talent... I've been firmly corrected).

I just have so much respect for Mike Singletary, he is going to do great things with that 49ers team.

I'm already counting down the days until next Monday's game....man, I'm freaking excited for Vikings/Packers!!

Well the Jets/Titans uni's were throwbacks to the NY Titans (iirc) and the Houston Oilers so they get a pass..

But those Seahawk jerseys were and absolute abomination. Just brutal. Awful. Ugly. Appalling. Unseemly. Odious and Offensive.

Really bad in other words.

I think the refs look so boring in north american sports.

Instead of white/black stripes or just black (umpires), why don't they be like soccer refs and get to wear yellow, red, blue etc..

and Pagal, do you like the drafting of Percy Harvin yet?

Is there any team that would benefit more from getting a good quarterback then the Raiders? I can't think of another team that would be an instant contender if they simply had a quarterback like the Raiders

Maybe not a contender, but they would be light years ahead of the bottom 6-10 teams where they currently sit. Jeff Garcia, IMO, would have made the Raiders very difficult to play against because of his ability to hit receivers and manage a game.

I wonder how many years Davis keeps Russel... I'm guessing another 3.
