So... wanna hear lame?

I rented 09 3 days ago just to refresh my memory on the whole online season thing. Then I created a Be A Pro dude for kicks... I made a LW to eventually play on the top line with Iggy and Jokinen.

So, I bust my ass racing my way to the top... finally get promoted to the first line, and what does the game do? It makes Bert my RW and moves Iggy down to the second line LW.

Same happened to me, so you basically replace Iggy so you can play with Bert and Jokinen, I eventually deleted that Be A pro.

... and welcome to my reason for not playing BAP. I'd always light it up with the guys on the second line and then tank with theh guys on the top line, so my entire season was spent jumping between the top line and the second line. I found it irksome.

i played as RW and got to play with Iggy and Langkow on top line. I didnt start BAP after Jokinen trade. We just signed Krejci, and traded for schubert and have smid. Colby armstrong is who I took off of the top line. Brashear plays in QC

Yeah, I scored a pile of goals on the second line playing with Langkow and Sjostrom (I fixed the Flames roster before I started), but now all of a sudden playing with Jokinen and Bert and we're never even in the other end of the rink - never mind scoring any goals.

I started getting irked too, so I put it away. I don't want to burn out on NHL09 a month before NHL10 comes out. I sure hope I don't go through this in the new one, though. What a let down.

My enjoyment increased ten fold when I ditched BAP and just went to a full team dynasty. So much attention went to the new mode that people often overlooked how good the team game was.

Also, it isn't hard to tell when it's August on CP. The top threads in the tech forum just keep circulating between different discussions about EA.

I tried a new dynasty today on NHL09. but the game became too fustrating and I almost broke my controller. Im gonna wait til 10 comes out before i play again.

I might've gone a bit overboard with the splatter effects, but tell me what you think.

What do you mean by usual? If you mean the actual NHL 10 cover, it's because I tried to make it similar and get the same effects, I probably should have used another player or team to make it more distinguishable.

Sorry, I couldn't find a big enough picture of Jokinen as a Flame to use, if you can find one I'll make a cover.

I found a decent picture of Nystrom on a Flames' wallpaper, I had to edit some stuff off of it, and it's not noticeable (hopefully), I also had to stretch it a bit since it wasn't big enough to fit the template.

Again, I couldn't find a decent picture, and I'd prefer not to edit a wallpaper from calgaryflames.com since they have signatures, and fire on the picture, but if you (or anyone else) can find one I'll gladly make a cover.
