Considering the money he lost, he was punished way more than you or I could be.

What does that have to do with anything? Rich people shouldn't get lesser punishments simply because they lose more during the time frame. If the standard is how much the average person would lose in terms of earnings Vick should have got about an hour in jail, if that.

Considering the money he had and the money is about to make he could afford to be "punished" way more than you or I could be.
I know that if I was in the same situation I wouldn't be out hanging around strip clubs figuring out which team to take a couple of million dollars from.
I would be wondering how I was going to make it day to day having to live off minimum wage jobs where my disgusting past would be ignored.

Bull. It's all relative. He lost what he lost and I'd lose what I would lose for the same time period. Yes, his earning potential was immense and because he chose to...I'll just say "be involved" in killing, maiming, and abusing these animals he deserves to lose everything he could have had. That's consequences for you. He also made way more in his short demented life than I ever will in my entire life and it appears he'll have the opportunity to earn millions again.
If I owned a team, I wouldn't want him anywhere near my club no matter how good he is. He is forever stained as far as I'm concerned and does not represent the values I uphold.

Thats the thing though, he isn't that good.
I don't want him on my team whether he is a dog fighter or not. He does not have the talent to make the throws or read a defense in the NFL at all.

You don't think he has the talent, but I'm sure several professional football people think he does, and that's really all that matters.
We're (you and others in this thread) are obviously not going to agree on whether or not he's been punished enough, so it's probably best to just leave it as a disagreement and move on.

You're right, there's an idiot GM born everyday in the NFL. Somebody will sign him, and it will be once again demonstrated that he's a 3rd down RB who can throw the ball really far with little idea of where it will land.

Your opinion, not NFL GM's.

So people are not supposed to have an opinion on a message board?
Or is it that they just aren't supposed to state that opinion?

I think the Detroit Lions should tell Stafford and Culpepper to eff off and sign Vick!

No, obviously people have opinions, but saying something over and over doesn't make it the truth.
Vick isn't Payton Manning or Tom Brady, but he's a highly entertaining and skilled player, a TON of teams would like his kind of offensive threat on their teams.

Nobody is saying that teams won't want him. People are saying that they don't want him on their team. So stating that is just our opinion is a little redundant in my view.
I could understand if people were arguing that Vick wouldn't get picked up by any team but of course it is just our opinion that we don't want him on our teams.

Looks like Vick has a conditional reinstatement and will be reevaluated for full reinstatement at Week 6. So now is the question of who picks him up and for how much? His first year back is basically a full year's training camp. So who gambles and takes Vick?

If I was Tennessee I would gamble on Vick. Kerry Collins is old as s@#% and I don't think Vince Young is ever going to make it.
