Also: love the free internet era where every game is available, if you know where to look. Haven't seen the end of a prefect game since Expos great Dennis Martinez did the Dodgers 2 days after Mark Gartner lost a no hit bid, in the tenth - nice run support '91 'spos.

(I only bother to know spellings of Jays players)
To Boston:
Wells
Doc
To Toronto:
Buscholtz
Ellsbury
+ draft pick/SS prospect
Maybe include Scutaro for Lowrie?

Goze, I also think you can't do that. For one because Boston won't. They will look at a package of Vmart and Cliff for bucholtz + before they consider Doc and Wells as an option. I also hear they are heavily pursuing Adrian Gonzo.
I want a deal like Ben Maller reported: To Tdot: Manny Parra, one of Gamel or Escobar and a lesser prospect. If Jp could get both Gamel and Escobar with Parra, he would be a shoe in to be re-signed.
I hear a Phillies deal is the most likely right now.
We are heavily scouting a phils prospect: Kyle Drabek. He's Doug Drabek's son. Apparently, he's had Tommy John already but has a devastating Curveball and an interesting makeup: extremely cocksure. He could be the bluechipper that seals the deal with other parts coming back, like a SS prospect Jason Donald.
To the poster who recently imported the "JP won't trade Halladay" notion, I hear what JP is telling us, but I don't believe ######i be stubborn enough to think this team will contend next year and strike while the iron is hot. In fact, Buster Olney and Peter Gammons posit that Halladay's Value will never be higher and I am in accordance with this idea. Also, didn't Halladay recently comment as to him wanting to test the free agent market following the conclusion of his deal? And hasn't JP said that they have to explore trading him?

Not that I've found. The one on the official site blows.

Agreed, JP also stated that Doc will not ressign with the Jays... Jays have no choice but to explore the market and see if they can obtain a quality package.
If the Jays do not trade him, personally I believe this is a huge mistake.

They would be borderline ######ed (######i?) to not trade him.
Especially if they can get a couple of really good prospects back.
Now if only they could find a team dumb enough to take Wells.

Well St. Louis is likely out of teh Halladay sweepstakes as they just got Holliday.
I say they're likely done because Brett Wallace was included and I am sure the Jays would have insisted on him being included.

Well the Cards are out of the Doc sweepstakes, not that they were ever really in it but the Cards just picked up Holliday from the A's for Brett Wallace, Shane Peterson, and Clayton Mortensen. Cheering for a small market MLB team sucks this time of year. Although Wallace is suppose to be a very good 3rd baseman, something the A's need with Chavez's career in jeopardy.

So many expectation for the A's here in the Bay Area with the offensive players they acquired in the off season. Holliday has been good this year, but far from expectations and his power numbers are pretty terrible.
The Cards lineup is pretty scary now.

Quite possibly the last start in a Blue Jays uniform, and almost definitely his last start at home.
Not gonna miss this one.

I'll have my Halladay jersey on, a beer in my hand, and a big grin on my face when he puts up another solid outing.

So I should go to Seattle on Tuesday if I want to see the best pitcher in the American League instead of Wednesday? Would have been cool to see Halladay play for the Jays, but might not be in the works now.
