There are only three guys that can realistically fall to +5, Mayfair, Baird and Molder.

That'd put Tiger in a tie for 71st.

He needs someone else to completely implode. Boo Weekley, Chris Wood, or Branden Grace.

If he somehow makes the cut, who wants to bet against me that he gets into the top 10 by end of Sunday?

Getting closer. He (and Weir, btw), only need 4 more guys to fall. 3 look likely, the 4th would be a long shot.

Wasn't he out there a week before hand taking practice rounds? I don't recall reading that he flew in the day before and saw the course for the first time in the first round.

Do you want him to miss the cut because you don't like him, you don't like the amount of coverage he gets or another reason?

I have seen him blame Steve Williams for giving him the wrong club, whine about the weather conditions and course set up as well.

Maybe should have said blame others/other circumstances.

It always seems that when Tiger is doing bad it isn't because of him playing poorly but some other outside factors.

I read that on Tuesday was the first time he stepped on the course. He was walking the course with a guide. I could be wrong.

I don't like his attitude. Always slamming clubs, swearing, giving condescending press conferences.

The tv coverage is ok. I accept that they need to show him cause everyone is watching him and he is the best in the world.

I cheer for the Jarome Iginla, Joe Sakic classy type of athlete.

Jarome Iginla is well known for his actions on the ice stemming from his competitiveness. I'm shocked (now that I'm out of the Flames-fan sphere of influence) how many people think he's a whiner, complaining, poor sport.

LOL!

Iginla and Woods are from the same mold re. ultra-competitiveness in the heat of the game and all class out of it.

So you think Iginla was a bad sport and loser when he went after Hatcher in 04?

Show me a good loser and I'll show you a .......

Well hockey's a sport of aggression so going after someone sometimes isn't bad sportmanship. Come on, we all like Jarome!

i have to disagree with you on this one.. I put him in there with Sutter. ask a stupid question and get shot down... And he gets asked a ton of stupid questions.

Whenever Tiger has a bad round he blames no one but himself. Everybody certainly tries to give him exuses but he generally says "nope i played like shart"

There's a difference.

Sutter isn't a player. Sutter only gives the odd press conference in Calgary or Canada where reporters know the sport. Plus reporters all know him and it's all a joke. McKenzie is laughing even before he starts an interview with Sutter.

Tiger is a worldwide star and goes to places like Jamaica, Dubai or Shanghai where they may know him but not the sport. So there is going to be stupid questions. But he's an golf ambassador, he doesn't have to shoot down the reporter who came just to see him.

I just don't see that. Tiger is not the greatest interview, but he's not bad. Seems pretty cordial and friendly most of the time. I watch a lot of golf, and have seen a lot of his interviews, and haven't really ever seen him come across as an ass. A little boring sometimes, maybe.

I wouldn't even really consider myself a Tiger fan. I enjoy watching him play, but I'm often hoping for someone else. I do think a tournament is generally more exciting when he is playing and contending, but I watch them all anyway if I am around.

Exactly. I'd like Moon to show me an article where he's blaming something other than himself. If it's happened, I haven't seen it.

Tiger has shown up to a course and won it the first time he has played it before so that has nothing to do with it. It was all in his swing, he just didn't have it for the last two days, it happens to everyone including the best.

They could hype up Watson. They could talk about Americans Marino and the other Americans in contention?

I remember Hamilton and Curtis on the Open.

Does the British Open usually get good ratings? It's usually shown at 7 in the morning. I figured it gets better ratings in Europe.
