Thats not competitiveness and emotion, its poor sportmanship and him being a huge baby.

God forbid a guy doesn't have to swear, throw his clubs and blame everyone else when he f's up.

95% of the other players seem to be able to act properly but I guess they aren't competitive and don't care about winning.

And there goes Mikey. +6 through 7 holes of his second round after a triple bogey on 7. Usually he waits until moving day to make his collapse.

Go Watson!

The real problem lies in that the other 95% of the players are only shown a very little bit not every preshot routine and post shot reaction like they do with tiger.

Joe blow may curse and slam his club but you never see it like you do with tiger. You just wee the swing and the ball going through the air.

My opinion anyway FWIW

I don't know that I've seen him blame other people too often, other than yelling at the odd camera guy. That's kind of a lame comment.

Sergio is the guy who like to blame everything else but himself. Paul Casey threw a way bigger tantrum than I've ever seen Woods throw yesterday.

Different golf course today.

Only 2 players currently under par for their round. Tiger gained 25 spots before he even teed off.

+ 3 or 4 will be the cut likely...which eliminates Weir from the weekend.

I know you are a hater...but fer chrissakes, he isnt blaming others he is pissed off at himself...which is why he always says HIS name in those situations.

Add to that what Tim said...he gets fullcoverage and everything is seen....and you have a complete misrepresentation of what really happens. This stuff goes on with a majority of players at times at every event, you and I are just not seing it on TV. Go to a tournament in person and you will be surprised.

I love it when Tiger gets mad. When you're playing badly, I subscribe to the "if you don't get mad, you don't care" school.

I think Tiger does as well. It comes with being hypercompetitive.

27 of the world's top 50 still hanging around, with Tom Watson and John Daly in the mix. Should be an excellent weekend of golf.

Maybe not. He finishes birdie/par, it will be a long wait to see if the cut moves to +5.

And almost right on cue, he birdies 16 and 17 to put himself right back in the mix.

He's gonna miss the cut woohoo!

Even Tiger, as great as he is, can't just show up to a course he's never seen and do well.

Its going to be close, he'll probably miss it, but there are 8 or 9 guys playing that could still fall to +5. He needs 7 of them to fall. I guess 4 or 5 of them do, and he ends up tied for 71st or 72nd. It may well come down to one guy making having to make a putt on 18 to keep Tiger out.

That's really wishful thinking. Especially with an easy par 5 17th that they'll all go through.
