Thumbs down Really bad service!! Rocky mountain pools and spas

I recently decided to trade in the old hot tub for a new one. I was getting a few bucks in trade in for the old one so I WAS happy. This was on May 9/2009.

On may 10 I created a new proper pad for my tub with an electrical trench underneath and was planning on buying the material for a pergola to be built over top as I was moving the location of said (new) hottub to the side of the house.

Today I called and asked for my money back.....AS I paid in full in advance.

Why? I was originally promised a 2 week delivery including placement in my yard, wiring to my box etc etc.

I never received a why, a sorry any type of remorse. This wasnt from just one person but from 3 different people. I have never had such poor service and such a bad attitude from this company as I have bought all of my chemicals and parts from them for over 5 years.

I guess customer loyalty no longer exists and I am as the consumer am really really dissappointed. Needless to say if your going to by a hot springs spa ....dont go there!!!

Now here's hoping I ACTUALLY get my money back

Contact the BBB. Then do a creditcard charge back. Then send ROcky Mountain Spools and Spas a link to this thread so hopefully they smarten up.

edit: they seem to have a good BBB rating. maybe theyres miscommunication.

thats great that they had a good BBB rating but my complaint is going to change it for sure. I know exactly how it works and I intend on making sure it doesnt happen again.

I still intend on having to buy product from them as I still have the old tub which I now have to fix instead of depending on someone else which I shouldnt have done in the first place.

**********************UPDATE **************************

Spa deliverd today!! I thought I would be happier but here's the problem.
JETS DONT WORK.....OZONATOR DOESNT WORK ....they charged me for a NEW GFI power panel ....I already have one.

The delivery guys were swearing in front of my son and my wife.

I just dont get it. What the >>>> kind of service does 4K get you for a new hot tub.

ANyway, apparently its SUPPOSED TO GET FIXED TOMORROW

Good god I hope so.

THis is why I always put large charges on my credit card. I used to work for the call centre that handles Visa calls, and it's amazing what the words "product not sold as advertised" will get you when it comes to getting a charge back on that said company.

Hopefully you find a way to at the VERY LEAST get a discount on the items that were mishandled.
