I think it's separable because we're not judging either of them from an overall standpoint... just memories of Jackson.

What? And we're saying Jackson is not!?!?!?? Yikes.

OJ didnt get acquitted because of his defnse team...but wholly because of the ineptitude of the prosecution. They were beyond pathetic.

But i wont derail this any longer and will agree with this...

You can separate the art from the artist. Art can be good even when the Artist is bad. There are likely numerous other instances where the public has had no problem with similar cases.

Maybe because I can seperate his short comings as a person for exactly what he did to the world of music. Just like with OJ, some people can seperate professional accomplishments and his crazyness that followed.

I choose to remember the guy based on his musical contributions and not the fact he had a very sketchy life after he was "done" with music.

I will always remember him as one of the best Simpsons guest stars. Good ol John Jay Smith

Jesus. You okay? That's a lot of exclamation points and question marks. Your hate on for Jackson is pretty strong and you seem pretty convinced that he was a child molester. Like to share...?

OJ Simpson was convicted as a criminal, Michael Jackson was not. We have not determined if either OJ Simpson or Michael Jackson was a sociopath. I was saying that OJ has been accused of being one because of how he lived after the murders.

to me, supporting a child molester in his career is the same as supporting the act in itself. To me child molesters should be driven out of society and put in some kind of leper community. If you support the offender by providing him with $$$ he will continue to prey on the young and innocent.

Good on you Rerun, for standing up for what you beleive in. But you just labelled millions of people as a "Child Molestation Sympathizer".
 Way to go!

Unfunny, uninspired, and unreadable. Congrats on the triple U.

While I wish he would have gotten through a few of those concerts first, the guy did a hell of a lot to ruin himself throughout the years.

But you dont know that he did for sure.

IF he did...then sure, agree with most of what you are saying as far as the man himself goes, but as far as the artist goes? He was brilliant...whether you like it or not.

Problem is I'm not talking about him as a person, I'm going to mourn him as a musician. If you can't seperate the two, then there's alot of people's accomplishments you will chose to ignore. And that's fine.

I don't feel the need to mourn Michael Jackson the person, becuase he was little bit of a nut job. I will however mourn Michael Jackson the musician.

And if that makes me a bad/disgusting/deplorable person, then I guess so be it. Clearly that's the way I'm seen in your eyes and I'm not going to try and change your views on this.

Listening to a tribute to him right now, and enjoying every second of it. This cultural icon will be missed.

 | On a saturday bang
Boy is that girl with you
Yes were one and the same

 Now I believe in miracles
 And a miracle
 Has happened tonight

 But, if
 Youre thinkin
 About my baby
 It dont matter if youre
 Black or white

 They print my message
 In the saturday sun
 I had to tell them
 I aint second to none

 And I told about equality
 An its true
 Either youre wrong
 Or youre right

 But, if
 Youre thinkin
 About my baby
 It dont matter if youre
 Black or white

I am tired of this devil
I am tired of this stuff
I am tired of this business
 Sew when the
 Going gets rough
 I aint scared of
 Your brother
I aint scared of no sheets
 I aint scare of nobody
 Girl when the
 Goin gets mean

 (l. t. b. rap performance)
 Protection
 For gangs, clubs
 And nations
 Causing grief in
 Human relations
 Its a turf war
 On a global scale
 Id rather hear both sides
 Of the tale
 See, its not about races
 Just places
 Faces
 Where your blood
 Comes from
 Is where your space is
 Ive seen the bright
 Get duller
 Im not going to spend
 My life being a color

 (michael)
Dont tell me you agree with me
When I saw you kicking dirt in my eye

 But, if
 Youre thinkin about my baby
It dont matter if youre black or white

 I said if
 Youre thinkin of
 Being my baby
It dont matter if youre black or white

 I said if
 Youre thinkin of
 Being my brother
 It dont matter if youre
 Black or white

 Ooh, ooh
 Yea, yea, yea now
 Ooh, ooh
 Yea, yea, yea now

 Its black, its white
 Its tough for you
 To get by
Its black , its white, whoo

 Its black, its white
 Its tough for you
 To get by
Its black , its white, whoo
