If you can't taste the difference between a can and a bottle, you don't drink enough beer. Huge difference.

I tried BRL tonight, and I gave BLL a second shot as well. I'm a fan of darker beers, so for me BRL is the better brew. I could see the appeal of BLL, but it's not for me.

Its hype, BLL is at best average, yet the hype and short supply (obviously intentionally done by Bud) make people think its special.
This is a common tactic we've seen in the last number of decades, Molson short shots, molson ice, etc...

They certainly lost people to other systems because of it, and a lot of game sales because people didn't have the systems as long.

Have you seen Wii sales reports?
50 million Wii's sold worldwide, fastest selling system to hit that mark.

Geez, fotze mentions the Wii and then subverts the thread. I do it twice previously (mention the Wii) and no one cares. I see how high I rate.

I think that producing video game systems with complex electronics is a little more difficult then producing recycled urine with a splash of lime.

So where can I find BRL, I haven't seen it in the few stores I've been to?

But the splash of lime is fully of artificial flavours. Therefore the chemistry involved is as complex as the electronics in the Wii.

Yup, but they missed having a lot of money in their pockets a lot sooner because they brutally failed to predict their own success.
The bottom line is they didn't capitalize on the wii nearly as much as they could have.
I like beer.

Limericks has it on tap and in bottles. Hoping some liquor stores stock it soon.
I really enjoyed it, I think its better than BLL.

At the pub we went to after hockey last night, it was over $7 per bottle.

If I bought it at a bar here it would be like $3 a bottle but $7? Drink a pint of Guinness instead.

I saw 12 packs of BLL in cans at the liquor store at Market Mall yesterday if anyone is looking for them. I didn't see a price on them because it looked like they were just putting them out for sale.

Found both LL and BRL tonight in co-op liquor store - currently conducting field studies.... BLL by a landslide so far, BRL seems to have no lime taste at all. Or taste period.
The BLL was stupid expensive though, $27 for a 12 pack? They'd better throw in some Bud Girls for that price...

I tried Bud Light Lime this weekend. I am so glad I didn't spend money on this. At the bar someone gave me one. I tastes like Corona with a lemon in it, like those lime flavoured chips you dip in salsa. It's so light it's not even worth it. I could probably drink 30 and not feel it. Such a crappy beer!

I was drinking it all night on Friday up at the Ponoka Stampede beer gardens for $4.75 a can. No wonder you can't find it in this province, they probably had the entire stock up there. And it does not lead to a pleasant hangover the next day, blah!

I tried this beer on the weekend. I hated it. Blah! I now have the rest of a case if anyone wants it.
