I'm still curious to see it on the Blu ray though.

Those weren't lens flares. Those were the sub-chroniton transverse interphase warp bubble interdimensional galactic pixies working together to get Kirk and Spock back together.

My take on the red matter drilling plot hole: this guy's been drilling all his life. He doesn't know much else. His answer to every problem is drilling something. Yeah, he could just shoot the red matter at the planet, but it wouldn't involve drilling, so it's not a solution that's going to occur to him or appeal to him.

Further proof that Bruce Willis DID NOT, in fact, die at the end of Armageddon!

Star Trek hit $225 million domestic on Wednesday. Paramount hopes to hit $250 million domestic and $400 million worldwide. They may fall slightly short but the box office achievement of this great movie has been very impressive indeed. Especially its staying power.

Canyon Meadows and the Moviedome both have $5 regular price and $3 matinees.

Star Trek is still in the first-run theatres, and probably won't be in the cheaper theatres for a few more weeks or more.

Thats what I get for venturing into a Trek message boards due to lack of hockey.

Edit:

This may or may not be child abuse.
