I don't know if you already found a team, but I would think that if we aimed for Div 6 we could get enough guys together? Sounds like enough interest?

I'm also playing in super league's but in a different div. I highly recommend D-gels chin pads, they will save you alot of pain! This league is a blast and put together very well. You guys will have a blast.

I'm running the marines (formerly the Wolverines). We are in div. 5 made playoffs in the winter but I think div. 5 is harder in the summer so I have a feeling we will drop down after getting smoked last game.
#8 on rude boys, haha I remember you from last summer. We had some good battles right down to the finals where no players were left on the benches. Even a scrimage against eachothers team once when the rink was closed due to leakage.

We are in your division again. Who did you play in your first game ?
We blew out the high-flyers, but they came up from Div 7.

Grey ghosts. They are a good team but the jerks were still cheering like they just won the cup when they were up 5/6/7-0 everytime they scored so things got a little chippy.
We played the Calgary Capitals last night which are an ok team, but not near as good as grey ghosts. Got smoked again I'm pretty sure were gonna drop a div or 2 now.

One reason I hate the summer leagues, most teams stock up with div 1,2 caliber players and just dominate the lower tiers. Heck you can check most of the rosters and previous players dominated at div 2.

We will give them a good run at it. Grey Ghosts went up to Div 4 last year, not sure why they would drop back down to Div 5 ?

I managed to get picked up by a div 1 team, maybe next year if you guys got room I'll come down a few divisions. Allthough I consider myself a good player, I just don't know how much competitiveness is in me still.

What team are you playing on? How did they "pick" you up? Was there a pick up game where they evaluated your skill?

I am playing on the pitbulls for the remainder of the season more as a spare/half player. As per next year i don't know, its quite good ball hockey and my timing is off still a bit off as I haven't played any hockey in well over 10 years. Very fast and you don't have much time when you get the ball. I wouldn't consider myself a top player or anything like that, more along the lines of a middle of the road guy. How did I join the team, I went to a practise and got asked to join, simple as that.
I've got friends that play in lower divisions as well so I might head down there next year and get some PP/top line minutes and if they decide not to play next year I am sure I can find a team alot easier next year now that I have a bit of a decent resume.
