Too bad that annoying Sector 6 guy is still in the movie. Otherwise a pretty good looking trailer.

Xbox 360 lineup is pretty horrible over the summer, thank god for summer movies.

Implying that people who don't evaluate movies are fanboys. I disagree, as I'm not a "fanboy".

Can it, fanboy! Stay out of the theatres until you learn how to watch movies!

I went to see Transformers shortly after purchasing my first new car. I suppose that had some effect on me, as a big part of the plot is the story of "a boy and his car".

Overall, the film made me feel like I was 10 years old again. I loved seeing the giant fighting robots I so fondly remember from my youth. I was the perfect audience when the cartoon was on, and I was the perfect audience once again for the movie. It was corny, and cheesy and had a lot of special effects - which is exactly what I wanted (except for perhaps the shakey cam. It was hard to see what was going on at the end). The sounds of transformation really brought back nostalgia of getting home from school and running into the basement to watch the show.

I haven't had Transformers in my life for 20 odd years now. It's good to have them back again.

I can't wait for the second movie.

Yesterday, I watched the special features on the Transformers DVD and WOW....I have so much more respect for people in the movie business. The amount of planning, preparation and the execution of what goes into making a movie like this is unreal. The detail that the CGI wizards use is unreal. I just couldn't believe what I watching. I watched all two hours of the features and was in awe of what they do. Amazing. If you have the DVD and haven't watched the feature, check it out. It's worth the watch.
