Well, that's what I would do. But yeah, the going for the run thing is a good idea. You need to replace the current "feeling bad" chemicals in your brain with some other ones like adrenaline/endorphins.
I agree with this. I did an hour on the elliptical this afternoon and now I'm in a really calm and relaxed mood.
Locke's "stream of consciousness" posts tend to make me laugh (with him or at him, I'm not quite sure) but he is suck a post whore there is no way I'm going to thank them all. Perhaps I should just offer one representative thanks. Or, to go a step further, accept nominations for "Bobblehead to Locke; One Thank You Of the Day" (hereafter known as the BLOT-YOD). Peharps let Locke himself could start the thread and nominate 3 or 4 of his most favourite-est posts for consideration, and then open up voting for a span of some arbitrary length, after which I will feel compelled (but not constrained) to give a thanks. Of course others may not agree with Locke's choices, in which case write in votes would need to be counted. And if there is no consensus, or quorum is not achieved, then the decision could be left to the Magic 8 Ball.
Then again, that sounds like a lot of work.

I really wish that NHL Center Ice offered the ability to turn off the commentators and just turn up on-ice audio. Most commentators just annoy the hell out of me.

Get a 5.1 surround sound system. Set it up with the center speaker turned down. Problem solved.
I can't seem to pay attention to reality shows these days. I used to be a huge fan of Survivor, Amazing Race and Hell's Kitchen but I only think I'm (sort of) watching them these days out of habit.
