In reference to the topic of non-BCS schools playing the big boys:
Wyoming, although not a BCS bowl regular by any means, did sign a 3 game deal with Texas. The Horns will make the trip up to Laramie this upcoming season, with the other two games being in Austin.
Hope the Longhorns are ready for playing at 7,215 ft!
WYO has always gone out and played big time teams tough, in the last 10-15 years I remember them playing Ohio State, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Virginia, Ole Miss, etc. Very rarely are they blown off the field.
They're not going to sniff a BCS bowl for a while, but you would have to think that if everything fell into place, they wouldn't be afraid of playing a big dog.
