There was a Asian guy near the milk cooler at the Co-Op today, I ran away and will never drink milk again. Especially soy milk or rice milk, those crazy Asian milks.

I was at Tim Hortons today and this Asian guy asked me what time it was.
Needless to say, I ran for my life.
I saw an Asian guy in my bathroom today. I was totally gonna shoot him in the face, then realized it was my own reflection. That sure was a close call.

I’m avoiding all Asian restaurants and eateries for now on.
Why? Because I don’t want to be caught up in the Calgary gang “gun play.”
Normally my fiancée’ and I like to go for Vietnamese, but after what happened on New Year’s Day (innocent man killed) we will no longer frequent any and all restaurants that have an Asian theme. Seems like these are the “hang-outs” for gang members, and my safety and my families safety comes first.
Instead we will be ordering take-out and delivery when we feel like Asian food.
I know this may seem kind of extreme, but when innocent people are getting killed (and caught in the cross-fire) steps have to be taken to protect yourself and those around you. I’d rather just avoid “those” types of environments.
I never really thought much about the Asian gang problem here in Calgary, until that kid lost his eyes late last year, and now the triple homicide on New Year’s Day. I always thought “well, as long s they’re killing each other, then fine.” Well now innocent people are involved and the police are doing all they can do. No thanks to the revolving door of “the law” and the courts.
Those are my thought and my new year’s resolution. No more Asian restaurants.
Cheers!
The question I have is how broad is the scope of "Asian theme" restaurants.
I mean, sure, you don't want to be caught at an authentic chinese restaurant, for example. But what about fusion cuisine inspired restaurants? Or what about Szechuan or Mandarin inspired dishes at safe restaurants like Earl's and the like? Holy dinah! What about teriyaki wings?!? Don't tell me a plate of those at the Irish pub are going to get me blasted in the face!
