I have last minute shopping to do but I am terrified to go into any of the stores, as I imagine everyone in there right now is in a frenzy trying to get everything done.

If anyone is shopping tonight or tomorrow please treat the cashiers nicely.

Must be hell for them this time of year. I used to be one.

I am so glad I finished my shopping and wrapping last night. It makes me hate Christmas slightly less today knowing that I don't have anything left to do.

There's really no point in me being at work. Its dead here. And the champagne and orange juice we had at breakfast made me very tired!

I am always nice to the cashiers, but some of them are rude for no reason. I get there are people that treat them like garbage, but I am not one of them, so I don't see the need for them to take it out on me. I never did when I was a cashier.

I just have one gift to get, it is just a matter of getting there, getting it and getting out. I don't want to do it, but I can't not get a gift for my mom.

Awesome. Or it would have been awesome, but I already got her a gift. Well, I got two gifts for my dad, but I am just going to put her name on them. That way, he's satisfied cause he thinks I got her something and I am satisfied, because I actually didn't.

But man, giving her an expired gift basket would have been glorious.

I am not looking forward to wrapping presents. I have to wrap a box that's about a 3 foot by 3 foot by 3 foot cube and I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to do it.

I also have to buy wrapping paper. I'm thinking a stop at the dollar store on the way home may be the solution.

Be cheeky. I wrapped one of my moms gifts with scraps of left over wrapping paper. It's a total mishmash, but it works.

It could be even more glorious for next year! It's never too soon to start planning ahead!

Ditto. I got a few odd jobs that I'm pretending to do.

Why does this site serve me up Google ads in languages that I don't understand?

Why do they call it a snow bank when we can't open an account to deposit and withdraw money from it?

As I sit here doing nothing at work for the 2nd day in a row,
I wonder why they make us even come in, when my list of things to do has been the same 2 weeks running.

Gran Torino is freakin' great. I watched it on my laptop the other day and didn't mind. It's more of a character study than an action film anyway.

Just watched the Dark Knight as well for the first time. Not bad, but not worth the hype, IMO. No one beats Jack as The Joker.

Also just watched 7 Pounds. Highly recommend it, and I usually hate Will Smith.

On a somewhat related note, the girl from Halifax who was visiting me left the other day and I'm lonely and miserable now for Christmas. Hence all the movies.

Also thanks to however recommended Tommy's for burgers. Delicious. I fell in love with her when she finished her burger before me.

If olive oil comes from olives, coconut oil comes from coconuts, where does baby oil come from?
