Yup, he basically stood at the bedroom door and watched her slit her brothers throat according to his testimony, and the facts from the previous trial. That gives him responsibility in the kids death.

He admitted to killing the parents but denied killing the boy. Where as the girl said that Steinke killed all three of them. Probably one of those things where no one will ever know unless one of them admits to it, which I can't imagine is going to happen anytime soon if ever.
