i actually could not find a place that was renting rb1 so i had a nice CP member offer to mail me his disc so i could d/l the songs and then send the disc back. such a nice community when someone will send you a game over a thousand miles!

i went to the 2 blockbusters close to me, and neither had a copy for rent or even for sale used.

don't know if it was just bad luck or what. but when the other option presented itself, i quit looking.

Not sure if this was covered before, but is anywhere in Canada going to have the
AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack next week?

From all I can see on the net, its a US only release in Walmart.

According to a harmonix developer the ac/dc pack is only a walmart exclusive in the states, meaning it will be available at most game stores in canada. Looks like we actually get the long end of the stick on this one.

If you haven't found it on google:
Put in Rockband 1, and go under options. There should be an option to download the songs (provided you have the Xbox points for the licensing fee). It takes 10min or less. Once complete, pop in RB2, and the songs should be available

I saw the AC/DC track pack @ Future Shop yesterday. Man, $40 for 18 songs just doesnt cut it for me. if it was $20 maybe, that is one disc that shouldve been DLC

Hey man, lay off AC/DC ... they are barely getting by nowadays. It's not like they can make bucketloads of money by touring or anything. Offering those songs would really limit the artistic vision of AC/DC songs.

I downloaded the Killers songs this weekend and I still haven't gotten around to trying them out. Greatly looking forward to it though.

I was giddy with excitement when POTUSA came out earlier. My gf only remembered like 1 song from them, but dammit, POTUSA RULES

i'm not hating on them at all, but I am simply astounded that the love the presidents get around here. I really wish they would have released "peaches".

AC/DC was expensive but worth it.

I bought some NYKO frontman wireless guitars on Amazon for $5 a piece. Kind of nice black friday find. They would only let me buy four so I did. Never know when you are going to break a guitar on stage or give one to a lovely lady

Speaking of breaking guitars (RB2), I had mine break on November 11th, and put a warranty replacement for it sometime in the last 2 weeks, and they shipped a new one to me without me sending back the busted one. Now, should I be nice and not abuse the system and open it up to try to fix it? Or should i be nice and send it back like they want me to?

^ Didn't they take your credit card number?

When I went through the process they did, so they could charge me if I didn't send my old one back.

That's right - with the express warranty replacement, they take your credit card number and charge you $125 if the guitar is not returned within 30 days.

no doubt had its share of poppy music, but personally i feel a whole album is overkill.

like i understand ac/dc having a whole album. they have an expansive catalog and have been huge for years. but how many times can people play spiderwebs and im just a girl before hating no doubt forever?

p.s. - something that i think belongs in the confessions thread - i don't really think gwen stefani is that attractive. she just doesn't do it for me...
