Oh man does he have any point here? He's just rambling on with no focus, no stream of thought...awful.

Ladies and Gents - the new PM of Canada?

I think not.

Watching Dion's speech, they don't have a plan other then spouting vagarities and meeting with the provinces, which is funny because the government has already done that. So while Harper talked about things that they've done with RIFS, autopacs and incentives. The Liberals have nothing.

If Harpers speech was weak, this was terrible.

And he named himself as a lame duck.

I feel so bad for Dion right now, I wish they WOULD offer him a "start over".

I've stated that the Liberal/NDP/Coalition has to be held to a higher standard in terms of disclosing their plans to stiumulate the economy if the GG is going to grant their requests. This speech came across as one of my oral presentations in high school where I started working on it 10 minutes before I had to go to the podium.

There was nothing of substance there to back of their claims that they should govern. If I was a Liberal, I would be livid, if I was an NDP I would be embarressed, if I was a Bloc I would be laughing my ass off.

Given how long it took to get the tapes I think they did. Several times. This was the best they could get.

All that posturing by Dion about "working together" is absurd. If he was really interested in working together with the government, he would be trying to work with all parties in the house instead of try to take power.

Can you fault the Conservatives for not tabling a detailed budget right now? Say you make all these decisions and they completely conflict with the plan the US roles out once Obama takes office.

Ugh.. this is NOT the time for this crap.

And what are you going to give all those people without jobs that doesn't destroy the economy? This is so frustrating.

Not to chortle, but I rewound this and watched it again, and besides the speech being terrible, giving me no idea whatsoever what they're going to do, it looks like it was filmed using a $30.00 Samsung Cellphone.

The Liberals have to be broke in terms of money, and in terms of leadership.

So the Liberals are probably going to pump tax payer money (or Alberta Oil money) into their own coffers so they don't look so amateurish the next moment they piss off the Bloc and the coalition fails.

Also noticed that Dion made sure not to mention that the Bloc is part of the coalition of evil.

Well, the Conservatives and anyone interested in democracy will be mentioning that enough for Dion so he doesn't have to.

Why would he mention that when it isn't correct?

I don't know if CTV is at fault or what, but they have either started late, or cut short each of the three opposition leader speeches.

Really? I could have sworn I saw three people signing those papers when they made the agreement.

Duurrrrrr... doesn't count. They're the silent partner (you just have to pay them to shut up)
