No i dont...i bash the system..but since you cant tell the difference between the two, and i have said the same thing in this thread before...you have become unworthy of any response beyond that.
You continue to talk about things unrelated to the topic at hand and have told me repeatedly you know more than me about everything to do with college football.
Repeat and rinse...quite the personality to have..

No. Totally disagree.

I wasn't disagreeing with the obviously factual part.
To win the tournament you have to win 7 games, same for every team. Yes that's true.
The teams aren't on relatively equal footing in terms of how tough those 7 games are.

what is unrelated? And how is high school football related ... I know your not a hypocrite so that should be easy for you to answer.
And just curious about all the reapeated instances ... I've called you wrong plenty, I don't think you do anything more than emotionaly react and are not encumburded with the need to think, or listen, but that's not the same thing.

7?
ok, try this, after game #4, the 5th and 6th game is exactly the same right?
And then as you go back, #4 is similar you play the best in the bracket no matter what your seed is, so presumably that's a high seed, the only benefit to being a one seed is that the best that team can be is a two. Correct?
So for half of the 6 games you have almost no change in the path to the NC regardless of your seed right? So that's why I'm saying when Duke plays NC this year, rivalries are entertianing, but the result doesn't really do much to change the probability they win the NC. When OU and TTech played this year that outcome had a massive impact correct?
It's that very distinction that makes football popular, and why college ball is generally considered the most popular league on the continent.

Uh, no. Almost no change in the path? Are you serious?
Again, you keep bringing up the football example which has zero bearing on our discussion. You said regular season college basketball games are meaningless until March.
NOT TRUE.

I said it pales in comparision, and the basketball comment all started as a contrast to football.
So 18-11 is vastly different than 19-10? Looks about the same to me.

It depends who is in the 18 and 19.
That's ok, it's obvious you hate college basketball.

The 65 team tournament gives every team hope at the beginning of the year. It is fun for the fans and has a lot of attention being paid to it. The season still has a lot of meaning. Teams must earn their way into the tournament. In the end nobody can argue about who deserved to play in the final and who is champion. This year a lot of college football teams could be champions but only two get the chance to play for it.
Some football games don't mean anything during the regulars season now. I really don't care if Wyoming goes out to Tenn and beats up on them. Just like some college BB games don't hold a lot of interest for me.

Rumor has it that Texas Tech's Mike Leach is going to be the next Auburn coach. I'm a member of a New Orleans Saints board and there are a ton of Auburn fans there as well. They are citing quality inside sources that Tuberville was going to be back for another season before Leach committed.
Other sources said that the short list also included Skip Holtz (East Carolina), Butch Davis (North Carolina), Paul Johnson (GA Tech), Turner Gill (Buffalo) and Brian Kelley (Cincinnati).
Take it for what it's worth I guess.
The rank in file Auburn fans are not exactly happy, but they knew Auburn's board of trustees have been looking for a reason to get rid of him for some time. Remember the Bobby Petrino fiasco a few years back?
Petrino has officially stated he has no interest, Nick Saban is yet to comment on the opening...
Edit: Saban not impressed with Auburn BOT...

"So I guess we're 5-7 away from the same thing."

I think the University of Washington has interviewed Kelly.
I can't wait to see Gill get a shot with a bigtime program. Engaging guy.

Washington interviewed Leach as well. They should certainly have the resources to bring in a top name guy, but who is going to be able to compete with USC for those top notch recruits to get them back to where they belong?
I bet Jim Mora jr. was pissed when he found out the Washington job was open. He said a couple of years ago that it was his dream job. (one of the reasons he was let go in ATL). I guess he'll have to settle for the Seahawks job next year.

Let's go Wildcats (Im referring to Kentucky). The SEC is so much harder to play..I wihs they were in the WAC, then they'd school everyone (maybe even Boise State).....

This year it isn't.
I don't think that Kentucky would ever school Boise State and would likely lose to them more often than not.

Ball State got it handed to them by Buffalo tonight. ouch, that's a major hit, considering they passed up on a humanitarian bowl match up against a tough Boise team so that they didn't jeopardize losing their undefeated season to a team at home.
On a similar note, it looks like Boise will be going to san diego to play TCU, which is going to be a really good matchup.
