Harper just slaughtering Layton and May on Afghanistan.

Its a UN sanctioned mission with responsibility handed off the NATO because the UN cannot fight a war Stupid.

end of story, I can live with tax cuts to artists, but I would rather my money goes to health care and other important areas and not to artists.

Nah, screw 'em, right? Those artists don't contribute more to society than I do in my office job. I deserve more of the pie!

I think you're just falling in love with Dion or something because I have no idea what you're talking about. The camera was just on Dion for his time, and I used his tie as reference, and the camera zoom didn't change.

I think it may be because her questions have nothing to do with the actual topic at hand. We're talking about the war in Afghanistan. Not the poverty in Africa

Yes and No.

As far as I understand it, a UN mission is normally one of peacekeeping. If you are invading another country then it can't be a UN mission. However, if they sanction it they are saying they agree with it (or don't disagree).

Personally, I have no idea which the (most recent) war in Iraq was, but I think that is the general concept.

I'm fine with artists, I said before that we should give individual tax benefits, however we shouldn't be paying for galleries, paying for films to be made, the government shouldn't be paying individual salaries.

And what do I do, I help companies pay their employees, I work for a company that creates technology that makes organizations more effective, my company actual creates a strong return on investment that allows them to re-invest funds into their own company.

And the government doesn't pay me, and I don't get tax breaks above and beyond any other individual in the country.

I worked for a gallery that actually made a profit, sold art and promoted Canadian artists, and they certainly didn't need government money to put on shows.

it's during his 45 second spots, not during his responses. It's when he looks deeply into the camera, thanks the person that asked the question by name, and then tries to sell him snake oil before Layton takes his wallet.

Un-be-leeeeviable! Did Duceppe just say that he doesn't want to be PM and that furthermore, that the other three (less Harper) would not be PM?

LOL!

Duceppe is right though.

Layton will never form government
Green will never form government
Dion has run a terrible campaign and will not form government.

It's about picking second place and avoiding a majority in his mind.

"I'm going to look at your savings and your mortgages. I'm going to talk to the institutions that have your mortgages. We need to look at things...!"

Thanks, Dion.

Are you actually asking this question? Why don't you pick a category - something like literature, film, music, or visual art. Next, we can talk about the massive impact your choice has had on the course of history so far.
