My vote is for non-nhl jerseys. I guess the final decision goes down to our fearless leader and captain Staypuft. I'm not sure if he's a dictator or not ... i guess he'll tell us.

I never even thought of the jersey design aspect of it. That should be really cool.

Hey guys.
I've updated the first post with our list of players (which now sits at 19).
Seems like we'll have a good group of guys so I'm excited.
I don't have any info on how jersey creation or team naming will work, but I suppose we can get to that in the coming week.
I am personally for a made-up team jersey, but I'm sure we will be limited in what we can choose.
Basically, we'll have to wait to see what our limitations are and go from there, rather than getting way ahead of ourselves.
I'm also toying with the idea of creating a blogspot/blogger account for our team, so we can post quick recaps of games and keep track of new members, team news etc.
I think it'd be a cool idea, and we wouldn't have to navigate our way to the tech forum and search for our thread everytime we want to make a post.
What do you guys think, and would anybody be willing to help out?

if you are just thinking some kind of blog type site will be sufficient, i can host a wordpress blog on either my local server or my hosted account. blogger makes me want to barf, wordpress is where its at!

since i am still awful at the game, i might as well contribute in other ways!

That sounds awesome.
I am not the greatest with design either, so that would be great if you would host it. I figure if we had a few people with posting abilities we could keep up to date on record, new players etc.
That would be much appreciated if you would do that, definitely.

We may not have logo edit capabilities ... my guess is we'll be able to pick from either nhl, ahl or generic pre-made logos. My guess is if we could make our own logos we would have heard about it by now.

The way I see it, we're likely going to want to go with a pre-made team logo, as the extra ones EA supplies are always terrible (unless you really like cartoon bears or dice).
I'm a fan of Severstal of the KHL's logo.
Hopefully we can choose from all of the ones in the game...

Yeah, you're probably right, there's too much of a possibility for badly themed logos when you leave it up to the users.
