He's just trying to make you feel good, I've been bashing you every chance I get. You and your pinches. There's always one on the team.
No matter how many times we tell you, you just keep on pinching...

Hey is anybody on the team going to the U of C? Or lives anywhere near it? I'd be willing to carpool with whoever if that's the case.

My buddy Colin on the team goes to U of C, but I think he might be continuing his internship this winter, I'll ask him tomorrow. Even if he's doing his internship, he lives in that area.

Is it 745 or 845? I think the email that went out said 845.

Remember when I jokingly made this post half way through the season? Well we ended up finishing the season 0-14-0-1. Hooray for that shootout loss and 1 point on the season. That's the beauty of the NCHL though, we are still gauranteed a playof game.

bump-a-roony.
Actually, when I said that, I could have sworn that's what it said. It was when there wasn't a team assigned to play us. Maybe they moved the time.... either way, I'm wrong and it IS 8:45.
I'm still a few weeks away from playing, but I'll be at the eval. game for sure, and probably the others. Depending on when the season starts, I may be able to play in Game #1 if it's half-way through Sept. Otherwise, I need to let this sucker heal. It's killing me that I can't play, but such is life. There's the possibility I won't see a game until October.
Who's bringing beer Wednesday? I can still drink. From the bench. And yell profanities. At spectators.

Well, I started a beer list, however with this team there will be two people responsible for bringing 15+ beers each to every game, rather than just one. Although, i didn't assign anyone for the eval game, as there will be league reps and refs going in and out of our dressing room. But now that I think about it, it just isn't right to not have beer at a hockey game.
I'll probably throw a 2-4 in my bag, you want to to bring some too? We should also see how many guys we can get on board for the old "pre game drinking at a bar even though we know it won't feel good when we hit the ice" routine. Rhettzky's a spare, but should be there for the eval game, i know he'd be down, and you won't be playing, so you should be down.

Well I took a couple of weeks off work here, and I don't think Josh is working right now, so technically we could show up at around noon and start drinking.....

Ha ha speaking of that, I actually drunkenly threw a stick on the ice in the winter season after the ref made a terrible call. He didn't see me throw it, but saw a stick sliding beside him (about 25 feet from where I was standing on the bench). He picked it up, skated to the bench and said "what happened here", and I just said "oh that's mine, sorry I dropped it". he looked at me, then looked back to the spot where he picked it up, then at me, then just shook his head and skated away, lol.
