Yeah I'm not sure where the "they canceled Calgary" came from, but they still have the July 30th date on their site.

It's still on their site but Ticketmaster took it off their upcoming concert list. They are showing Winnipeg as the only Canadian date now.

Even Winnipeg is not on there anymore. Doesn't make sense. Surely they can't cancel all 7 Canadian dates.

Spoke to a guy at ticketmaster today re: Sheryl Crow concert which I doubt I will go to but also asked about Coldplay and he said the show is still on. He told me why it was taken off ticketmasters site but I still didn't understand what he was saying as to the reason why they did this, but the show is still on for July 30th...

Ok, thanks for the update. As long as they still have the ticket sale on the 14th and the pre-sale on the 12th we should be good. And as other people have already said it's still listed on their website which is always a good sign.

Did anyone else try to get the Best Buy presale code only to be rebuffed with some sort of "oh your address isn't gonna work" BS? Eff THAT crap. So anyway, I don't have a code so I guess I'll be vainly trying to get tickets when they go on sale to the "public". You know, getting tickets to things these days is such a royal pain in the ass. It's easier to close the deal with a hot chick you just met at the bar than it is to close the deal for two tickets to an event that can hold 20000 people.

i went to see them a few years ago in oklahoma city.... i really bought the tickets so i could get in this girls pants

HAHAHAA ( it worked

) Im not a fan of their music but the concert was bearable, knowing what was coming afterward.... and their lead singer has a ton of energy , it almost tired me out watching him run back and forth!!

I just tried again for a larf and it worked; apparently I will receive a code and "instructions" on either the 9th or 10th. If this works I will no longer want the jerks at BestBuy to gigabite me.

If you are a Best Buy rewards member you can request a code for a pre-sale. The pre-sale is on the 12th.

The neat thing is, in the fine print, it says that having 1) pre-sale codes are limited and 2) having a pre-sale code doesn't guarantee that you can buy pre-sale tickets.

When you're a multi-platinum selling act with huge international presence in the peak of your career, you don't cancel shows on your upcoming promotional tour one week before your CD is even released.

now calgary is not on the coldplay website. edmonton and winnipeg gone too. toronto on the 30th instead.
