Looks like two outstanding moral victories for SW tonight in the senior circuit.
And the all important pink scarf somehow found it's way to Locke.

That's all I know, I only went to the bar....

Well, got to give you kudos for not covering up the doo-doo like last week!

Seems like the NSA log shows 16-0 and 17-2 losses....

As for our Warriors club, we played the two time defending champion Bandits. We got hammered pretty badly in the first game, losing 21-5, I think. Lost the second game too, but it was closer, and went the full 7 innings. Didn't get the final score, but it will be posted on that link in a couple days.

Yeah, been there, done that.

Had a guy in a rundown between third and second. I "lobbed" a ball over his head. Or so I thought. Plunk, down he drops like a sack of potatoes.

We were up something ridiculous like 25-2 or something at that point, so we just said go to second. You are safe. OOOOOhhhh nooooo, he wasn't going to do THAT.

So instead a girl comes out to run for him.

Now, the VERY next pitch.... ball is hit to center.

Comes to me at third.

I hear the catcher calling for it as the girl had headed home.

I turn...

I fire....with everything I have on it.

BAAAAMMM! Right in the back of the head of that same girl.

Two pitches... two headshots.

Benches cleared, I was religated to outfield for the rest of the game...

I dunno, you can just brag to your grandkids that you got two runs off of former Major League All-Star Chris Reitsma once...

Those were both really fun teams to play. Few more games under our belts and I think we can take that second team. We would have probably had them had it not been for Locke's bench play. I really don't know what else to say about it besides...

We clinched a playoff spot already. It's all good.

At our current rate of improvement, we will be able to handle the real Seattle Mariners by July.

What. A Stupid. Rule.

I've been bestowed the scarf of shame on a technicality!!

As for our mid-season break next weekend, we should either hit up some batting cages or just practice in general at St. Greg's.

Its either that or hold a team SW All-Star game. None need attend.

This is a good idea, if I can get away from building the garage

Locke then stopped it with his foot before it was completely out of play, ref called the runner out because Locke touched it. Total BS rule and call by the ref, the other team told him to forget about it but he stuck by his original ruling.

Weak. Locke's a liability even if you park him on the bench...

We've got a game tonight. Weather Gods may be conspiring to keep us from going over .500.

According to: http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/caab0049
"We don't expect any precipitation from Monday Afternoon to Tuesday Morning."

SW is trying to pick a game of yours for us to come out to and heckle en masse. Maybe it will be tonight.
