I see I was incorrect about the Steelers. They have one number retired, #70 Ernie Stautner. None of the high profile HOF players from the 1970's.

Good move, better option than Jamie Martin, sure like the off season thus far for the Saints.

When Martz went to Detroit I though KJ was going to be the next Marshall Faulk or Priest Holmes (or at least used in a similar fashion). He sat on my fantasy bench a lot.

Kevin Jones went through a lot of injury problems, but the biggest issue for him was the offensive line couldn't block for him. The Lions have had a flashy offense the last couple of years, but it was all in spite of having a terrible O line. Whenever the going got tough, they were unable to move the ball anyway.

The Lions also released Kalimba Edwards, so with his departure and the trade of Shaun Rogers, the defensive line will have to be revamped.

DeAngelo Hall might be traded to the Raiders for a 2nd rounder (36th overall).

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200....ap/index.html

I dont know how I feel about this. Hall is a top tier cover corner and pairing him up with Asomugha would make for a great secondary (with newly added safety Wilson). But, the guy is disgruntled and outspoken and the Raiders arent exactly a winning organization right now.

If this goes through, the Raiders will be without a 2nd and 3rd rounder this year. I think that, along with the fact they dont want to pay top 5 draft price (again...and again) will make them trade down for a collection of picks - Dallas, Im looking at those two 1st rounders you have.

49ers cut Darrel Jackson. They shouldn't have picked him up in the first place - a small, often injured, deep threat isn't want Alex Smith needed - he needed someone dependable, a receiver he could count on.

And on another note, Lendale White got 3 citations near a club throwing a party for him.
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200....ap/index.html

I wonder if that will warrant a suspension from Gooddell?

Jason Elam is now a Falcon.

It should be interesting to see how he does in a Dome.

So very sad.

Could very well be the next kicker in the HOF.

Broncos and our freaky at home injuries....Griese faceplants drunk at TD's house and Plummer breaks his foot getting up off of his couch. Unreal.

Marshall's a stud.

49ers lose a draft pick (5th rd) for tampering with Lance Briggs, and also switch picks with the Bears in the 7th rd.

Anyone think the 49ers are the only team that did tampering? There had better be a few more penalties.

Herm Edwards is pointing his finger at the Bucs and Rams.

btw call me crazy, but I don't know if I even have the Giants making the playoffs next year, let alone being in the Top 10 in the league. I'm still not sold on Eli Manning yet.
