Anyone remember the personal cinema in the game room where you would pay a token to see an episode of the TV show? That part seemed a little weird to me.

The best part about Bullwinkles over CEC's is that the security didn't care if you walked up the bowling lane and dropped all the balls into the 100 point hole. HELLO POTATO GUN and a MOUNTAIN OF CANDY!

Bullwinkles was where I learned that for the track and field video game, the real trick to running fast is to use a pencil and wedge it in your fingers and only press down on one side of the pencil and the tension in the wedge automatically presses down the other side. You could get like 9 meters in the long jump that way.

Thanks for posting that link!!! I crack up like an idiot everytime I think of the skits they used to do as Ed and the Honky Tonk man. Pure gold!!!!

As for the question at hand -> you were your school's safety patrol representative in the Stampede Parade. BTW, do they still have patrols at the elementary schools there?

I preferred Bullwinkles to Chuck E Cheese because of the water show they played at intermission for the creepy mechanical Rocky and Bullwinkle show.

Good question. I've only ever heard it in Calgary, but I half the population there is from Saskatchewan, so that doesn't mean much. It's definitely not only people from Sask that do it though; I know lots of born-and-raised Calgarians that do it as well.

Yeah, I really liked the water show, and the Chocolate Moose dessert.

My sister was on the opening staff at Bullwinkles, so I spent a lot of time there as a kid.

I know Rocky and Bullwinkles was sweet, but what about Easy Street in Chinook..? That place was a pilgrimage to the holy land for kids.. I seriously dreamed of going all the time.. I remember being so depressed when it went under like 15 years ago..

I also liked how Bullwinkle would give you the shout out on your bday. He called me out for my 10th bday, it was the defining moment of my life.

Yup, still going. In fact, I was there last month with my Beaver troop. It seems to be in a bit of a resurgence, although the girl at the counter called my 4 wheeled roller skates "old school"...
