You were abandoned with a cono-cup and a bag of licorice in the Peanut Gallery at McMahon Stadium.
That's the area at the top of the hill that used to say " C A L G A R Y" where the red and white club now stands.

When...
... you have no idea what the difference between a yield and a merge is
... you have no idea how to navigate and properly yield in a traffic circle
... you had no idea your car came with signal lights
... your idea of a friendly wave is a one finger salute
... you barge into the other lane with your big SUV and feel no need to thank me for not causing a wreck because you have no idea how to drive
... you back out of your parking spot at mach-3 and pay no attention to what you're backing out into

When you describe cold as 'jacket-wearing weather', or something similar.
When you know exactly what it means when someone refers to "The Dark Years"
When you get irritated whenever you hear some jackass Easterner bragging how they got free recycling pick up back home.
When your school has to be taken over by the police as a headquarters to prepare for celebrations after playoff wins.

This has always been extra funny to me because my grandfather was named Cecil and every time I came to Calgary as a little kid I wondered if the Cecil was named after him. Not that my family used to take me to the Cecil a lot whenI was 5 but I did see it when drinving downtown.
