I've heard it's a fun experience.
Making it even funner is I have to take it out myself! Self-Preservation dictates this will be in me till I die =D

some advice: you may want to pull it out slow..Don't! i mean dont yank it, but once it starts moving you will want it out in a hurry lol

That's what my mom and step-dad said I should do. The nurse said "pull fast."
I will try in the middle.

Just don't forget to deflate the cuff balloon before pulling it out, especially if you're going with the rip-out-as-fast-as-possible-method.
Dong.

You've actually been quite helpful. I'd thank you, but you're a flames fan and I just can't quite get myself to do it
(Thanks!)

I should make something known: The thing being in me doesn't hurt at all. I do have this constant feeling of needing to take the biggest whiz ever, but beyond that, nothing.
My problem is it's next to impossible to live with, and very uncomfortable to sleep with.

I had one in the hospital during my appendectomy. That week was filled with wonderful new experiences for me. It was the only time I ever had to get an enema as well.
Let me tell you, I had always thought an enema would be about a 9 or 10 on a ten point scale of unpleasantness. After having a catheter put in and taken out several times, an enema doesn't even deserve a 1. Considering that I hadn't taken a dump in almost a week, it actually felt quit good to get that crap out.
The worst part about the catheter was I woke up several times to find myself trying to yank it out. I guess subconsiously my body knew that things aren't supposed to go in that hole!
