Ill be back in Cgy this summer. Leagues games sound awesome! I'll throw my name in there if there is still room.

2) will you have another player with you? NO what gender?
3) what area of town do you live in, and is distance a deal-breaker? (if yes, maybe we can get a north team and a south team or something) I live in the deep south. Distance isnt a deal breaker.
4) are you willing to share the costs of joining the league? (this must be made clear upfront...I can't afford to float a whole team! we'll probably need bases, balls, bats, etc) Yes Also beer. Definitely
5) Ill say weekends, simply due to travel and traffic.
6) Typically 2nd base or any outfield position.

sorry guys I just woke up and have some stuff to do so I am not going to be crazy and play in the snow... but I can't believe it if you actually went out to play baseball in this weather. More dedicated than me, that's for sure.

Well it was a fun time. Thanks to Aeneas, Troutman, 4x4 and Resolute 14 for braving the roads and coming out for the laughs. Played for over an hour, then did wings and beers. Good guys the lot of them.

Pfft... It was fun. It wasn't too cold... A drunk stopped by and said hi. Feet got a little wet, but nothing a couple beers and some wings didn't take care of.

I really hope that guy didn't actually think we were playing a doubleheader at 4:00.

Still waiting to see if anyone has any league suggestions before I go ahead and get on this... we need to have a meeting of some sort in the next few weeks to collect some cash from everyone. (depending on how many people show up, will be how much it costs per person, and if we collect too much we can give people refunds when we know).

So any league suggestions? I suggest we have a player meeting on Feb. 12/08 at about 8PM so that we can meet and watch the game (PPV).
