You might be disappointed. Doesn't 7-11 only sell Lay's Products exclusively now?

Lays and their associated products are one of the worst chips ever. They make me feel sick.

Edit to add: Can you call back and ask them if they are ever going to re-release the cheddar cheese flavoured ripple chips? Best chips ever.

speaking of the Cheddar Cheese Ripple, I was just at the grocery store a few hours ago and they had them here in Ontario, so I would think you would be able to get them there in Calgary?? They only had ripple chips, here, cream dill, sour cream & onion & cheddar. They also carry the tortilla chips and some flavours of nacho chips.

They don't carry that brand out West or if they do, it's only recently been reintroduced because I don't see it anywhere. Back in the day it used to be called "Au Gratin".
EDIT: By the way, the reason you're now seeing Old Dutch in Ontario is because the company acquired the Ontario-based Humpty Dumpty.

yes, you are right it is Au Gratin, I just used cheddar cheese since they were called that in the earlier post.
I guess that is why they are all displayed with the Humpty Dumpty chips.
I wonder if they use the Old Dutch cooking methods, etc., or they just make Humpty Dumpty chips and put Old Dutch name on it? I like a lot of the Humpty Dumpty flavours better than Lays however.

Bought some Mexican Chili chips yesterday. They didn't have as much seasoning as I remember but still pretty good.

I remember the seasoning could vary from bag to bag. One would be sparse, barely qualified to be considered "Mexican", the other would be absolutely drenched in seasoning.

Do you have a problem with MSG? Old Dutch uses MSG in a lot of their products. My husband has a big problem with MSG so first thing I do with any product is read the label for the list of ingredients. If MSG is an ingredient, I do not buy it.
Heavy sweating, heart palpitations, feeling uneasy, tense, edgy, hyper, all signs of reaction to MSG.

How has anyone not mentioned Miss Vickies Sea Salt and Malt Vinegar chips?
Best chips ever created hands down. Those things are my heroin. I cannot stop eating them. If you happened to get the slightly browned ones then you are a happy man.
I think Chip companies should sell the slightly browned chips. I wish I could buy a whole bag of them, especially Miss Vickies S&V.

I recently made a batch of home made, hand cut chips.. they were so damn good. Browned to perfection with a little seasoning salt.
Oh yeah!

I used to agree, but then I discovered Miss Vickies Sweet Chilli & Sour Creme chips.
My wife no longer lets me buy them because I'll eat the entire back within 10 minutes and spend the next day in pain.

Yep, that could be the problem--it is a neurotransmitter after all. But why would he have it with just Salt 'n' Vinegar and not other varieties?

I just sharted myself with excitement.
As long they're not as butchered as other childhood memories (i.e. the new G.I.Joe movie) I am going to be in heaven.
Today should be a day of celebration for all that is good in the world. These were the most phenomenal chips...
