Well "upset" is a pretty loose term in most of these games.
I mean Hawaii beating Georgia, or Illinois beating USC to me would be an upset.
WV or KU winning to me aren't huge upsets, since most of these teams never play eachother (or similar opponents) it's hard to really tell who's better until they play eachother.
Michigan was underranked in my opinion. They lost to App. state and were crushed, they lost to a good oregon team (would have been pac-10 champs if dixon didn't go down). Then they lost to Ohio state and Wisconsin on the road.
THey had the 15th hardest schedule in the country and the 5th toughest home schedule. The only real bad loss was app. state, just goes to show you have to show up for every game.

^^^ Thanks for some insight on some of the bowls. This is my first year watching College ball and really enjoying it...gotta admit though the way they figure who plays in the bowls and so on just blows my mind!

O.K., Predictions for tonight?
I'm going with LSU 34- tOSU 14.
Granted, I'm an LSU homer so I may exaggerate a point or two...

24-10 halftime
Agreed, horrible anthem.
LSU is traditionally a second half team, let's hope it holds true tonight.

OSU is losing this game more than LSU is winning it so far.
How many personal foul calls is that? 5? What is Tressel doing?

Tons of bad penalties for tOSU, not going to help the cause when they're already at a talent disadvantage...

The talent disadvantage isn't very obvious to me.
Give any top 10 several drives with 30+ penalty yards to their advantage and they're going to put up points quickly. FOX isn't showing replays of a lot of these personal foul calls which leads me to believe that they might be pretty questionable.

Watch the line play, LSU will wear down OSU's line by the end of the third.

Ah, so you buy into the Dorsey's hype?
He's been absolutely invisible all game. Dolphin fans better hope they keep their distance.

Jenkins is good, hopefully he's a Saint next year.
Dorsey is very good but not a world beater,

Malcolm Jenkins?
He had a nice pick there, but he's having a pretty rough game in coverage.

I tend to look at a body of work over a season, plus, anyone is better than Jason David!
Wells is pretty good too.

LSU just got away with two cases of illegal contact on that huge 4th down.

2 Championships in 4 years, I'll take it. I would have liked to see a plus 1 game with USC or Georgia, just to quell the naysayers.
The last time LSU won the national title, Calgary went to the Stanley Cup finals!
Go Flames Go!!!
