Huge value in those upsets. Chances are slim but it would be a big pay day. Stranger things have happened. Remember the year that the Packers won the Super Bowl. They played in Indianapolis as huge favorites. Favre throws a few interceptions and the Colts pulled off the upset. It was the only game the Colts won all year.

I have had a hard time finding places that are allowing a Money Line bet against the Pats this week...I was kinda thinking the same thing where it could be worth the risk because the odds would be good, but no luck so far.

Yes that's true. Consider it a 15% tip for eating there

I think that the odds are going to be artificially deflated for that game. Because in my mind, its 1000-1 odds that an awful Dolphin's team even gets within 20 points of the Pats. Especially given the Pats method of trying to run up the score without mercy.
Wonder if Brady's willingness to keep throwing the ball when the Pats are running away with it is going to affect his public image.
I can image some Steelers fan watching Tom Brady doing a T.V. ad and swearing off of Chevy because Brady is a jerk.

Trying to run up the score? You mean successfully playing a game until it is over.
Hate to steal arguments from Jim Rome, but they are professionals. There is no running up the score in pro sports. And especially in the NFL, where parity was born.

Heh heh. Public image? Brady? Does anyone have a bad thing to say about the guy other than he plays to win? Is he supposed to suck it down a notch because the competition can't keep up?

Pfft. Brady endorses a little handful of products. Look at MAnning. Is the guy ever NOT on TV? I wouldn't be surprised to see him endorsing the NBA.
And as for Brady being a "jerk"... The one, the only time he has ever flaunted himself was to Smith after the first TD against PHG. Brady is not jerk, no showboater. He never grinned or smirked all season long before week 11 when the Pats would win by 20 or 30 pts. You never saw him sitting on the bench laughing about it. He's the most professional QB in the league. If you argue that, you're watching something other than NFL.

Well here in BC the BCLC has the NE/NYJ game set at 23.5 pointspread and 9.85 for the moneyline. Thats a nasty pointspread, its hard to pick for it or against considering the Pats won by 24 in Week 1...but I guess they were cheating so it should be a closer game

I think I may have an unhealthy addiction to the NFL. I am literally going to turn down a bunch of drunk birthday sex at my girlfriend's house on Saturday so that I can be up in time to drink beer and watch the Eagles play the Cowboys in HD on Sunday.

How'd he lose his marbles?
He lost his defence, that's for sure.
Cutler wasn't very good tonight despite some decent numbers. Scheffler and Marshall were great and that was about it.
I hope they lose out. Higher pick. They'll be back in the playoffs next year. Future is bright in Houston methinks. Great coach, and they play for him.

Mario Williams has 10 sacks now?
He's panning out alot better than Mr. Reggie Bush.

Williams actually has 13. Half a sack behind Patrick Kerney for league lead now, tho Kerney obviously hasn't played yet this week.
All I can say is that the Texans are closer then ever from having finally arrived at the dance. The game Houston played tonight with Schaub on the sidelines, Dunta Robinson out for the season and a depleted o-line who is playing practice roster guys on regular downs... holy smokes. If we can get a true running back for next season that offense could be great.
I will admit, I defended the Super Mario pick when it happened after seeing his incredible combine stats and college film. I thought his combination of speed and strength was going to make him unstoppable. Watching him struggle through injuries and inconsistency and watching Bush and Young play to well for their teams, I definitely became a little leery of what the future held for him because of Houston's notorious poor drafting.
Thankfully it has seemed to work out and he is on his way to becoming a bigtime star. I have no doubt that VY and Reggie will also rebound from tough years but I could not be happier to have Mario join them at that elite level.
