How Do You Take Your Coffee
random thought that came through my head when I was replying to the Chinese drive-thru thread.
How do you take your coffee? A friend of mine literally shutters if he's with me when I order my black. I keep telling everyone, coffee black is how a man drinks coffee.
I'm expecting to see a large number of double-double's but when I go through the Tim's lineup it's
Large, coffee, black, please.

From Tim's, usually a medium one cream. Sometimes I get a large half English Toffee, half coffee.

Black....or with Baileys.
If from Tim's I get a double double though, don't like their coffee black for whatever reason.

If from Tim's, a double double.
If making it myself, about 6 packets of sugar or 4 cubes and a heaping spoon of whitener or 2 creams.
If hazelnut creamer is available, then I just use that.

From Timmy's it's an XL double-double. I've found that's the perfect combo. Any smaller and a double-double is way too sweet.
Yesterday, the guy in front of me ordered a medium coffee with 4 creams and four sugars. I just about gagged. To each their own I guess, but why not pour some sugar in your mouth and take a shot of cream? Just forget the coffee all together.

i agree that an xl double double from timmy's is the perfect match.
when it is saturday morning...i like an ounce of baileys, an ounce of kahlua, and a dash of cinnamon. good stuff early.

Black. Usually dark roast.
Tim Hortons is clearly a succesful coffee chain but their coffee is lacking, to put it nicely. Its coffee for people who dont like coffee. Take real weak coffee, throw in a ton of sugar and cream, and youve got a beverage that I wouldnt really call coffee.
Timmys is one step-up from instant.

Ha Ha, I save the coffee and Bailey's for Sunday mornings. Usually only in the winter though. Always at Christmas

Most of the time I take it black, but from time to time I like to add two tea spoons of brown sugar, or half a packet of hot chocolate with one tea spoon of brown sugar...a little bit if chocolate milk...fill the rest with coffee and add a marshmellow to finish. But like I said, most of the time I take it black.

###!
Timmys is way over rated.
If coffee is decent you shouldn't have to load it up with heavy cream and sugar. I drink only black and usually from Starbucks, Second Cup, Good Earth or fresh ground beans from home.

Did you know Starbucks burns their coffee beans because that tastes better in their cappucinos/mochas/expressos? They dont differentiate the beans for regular roast coffee - so essentially you like burnt coffee.
