I know 4 members, and have met a few others through buy/sell. There are also a few people in my section who I am pretty sure are on here. I think I'm too shy/embarrassed to go ask them if they're on CP though. My girlfriend already thinks I'm a nerd for the amount of time I spend on here.

not quite sure, picked 6-10, might be a couple more. Mostly from Buy&Sell, some on road trips, some became clients/friends, and I'm sure a bunch of people I know are probably on here and we haven't discovered we're both on CP yet.

I picked 11-20, but it might be more. Went to one of the original "CPuck Meet and Greet" get-togethers, or whatever they were called. I even forget where it was...some place called Shark's maybe? Some sports bar in the south (?) end of town (being from RD, I don't know CGY as well as most of you).
It was a ton of fun. Lots of OG CPuckers there, and some more recent members also. I think we watched the Flames play the Kings in a late season game. There were maybe 25-30 people there from CP, maybe more. Now that I think about it, we passed around somebody's hat (KevanGuy's maybe?) and everybody signed it with their CP handle. Forget what happened to that.

Why? I go to all the games by myself on the LRT and chatted with quite a few random people on there about the Flames and I always ask if they are on CP and if not I tell them to sign up. I've never met anyone who is a member here that way, though. Members who I've met and actually had a conversation with can't be more than 20.

I'd say 21-50 just from going to two heckles and 2 faking the cuts, and troutman taking me to a flames game.
Probably somewhere in the 30's is the real number though.

I'm easily over 21.. so I said 21-50.
My favourite meeting was still browna up at Rectall.
Weirdest was meeting Ro's girlfriend.. "This is.. uh.. a.. uh.. guy I.. uh... met on the... internet"

Halifax Drunk and I met up for a game during the playoffs last year (the game was horrible, and the only goal the Flames scored occured while I was in the bathroom, how's that for justice?)
Other than that ScreamingEagle44 I turned to the site and I believe he sticks to the buy/sell forum. I voted 1, but I guess 2 techincally (well that I'm aware of, who the hell knows, the guy that sold me coffee today could post on CP).
Regardless, it's different for me living in Nova Scotia and having so few Flames fans around (me and ummmmm me?)
Junior Hockey boards completely different story. I know half the posters from each team. I think it might be easier for me to say who I don't know than who I do.
Speaking of people next to you using computers, during the 2000 Memorial Cup Halifax had computer kiosks set up for fans to use. Here a Halifax poster and Moncton poster were debating and talking back and forth online, someone asked how the Moncton poster was on the net, and he explained he was at one of the kiosks. Another Halifax poster chimed in saying they were too, they looked up and here they were next to each other.
If I ever saw someone on CP I think I'd stop and say "hey who do you post as?" I never really had that shyness about introducing yourself as your internet handle, as when I'm in another CHL city I'll introduce myself as "the Greatest" which always gets a good laugh. "Hey how are ya? I'm the Greatest!"

That was pretty awesome. You were an usher then, right? I remember recognizing you from that night at Players, and yelling out something like "Hey Kermit! It's Ro!" The look on your face was priceless. After that it was a little awkward however, especially with the g/f there. Ha. Forgot about that.

None. I havent met any of the CP ilk, but to be fair I also havent been around that long, only 6 or 7 months
I dont think its that long.....time is a variable quantity on CP......
