Really?
For me a run of the mill day reading the "layoffs in the oilpatch thread" and worrying more about my job/others jobs/etc. than much else. As for the people feeling all inspired. I sometimes get that. It'd be similar to the start of every new school year. When I'd buy books/pencils/pens/paper, get organized and be excited how this year would be so much better.
A week later (being generous) the feeling would be gone and I'd be skipping class and thinking about something else.

Still bitter huh?
I for one am enjoying the thought of Bush being no where near the White house.

No just waiting for Bush to unleash that Military Unit he had stationed in the US on active duty to recapture the White House. Place the whole of the US under marshal law, implement conscription and invade multiple countries for their oil.
Why?
I think it is very telling that people are unable to conduct themselves with class even in victory. We saw this with Palin and now we are seeing it with Bush. Some very small people around.

I wonder how Canada will cope with the loss in tax revenue from the outward flow of migration back to the USA. Remember all those celebrities that moved up here after W. got re-elected.

Perhaps the small people are the ones that have come into this thread with no other intention other than to provoke arguments, especially when they're about as dead as could be.

I agree...I really like HOZ and his brand of comedy. Reminds me of Stephen Colbert.

Hey, you replied to me...and called me bitter. But then post #33 kind of refutes that.
So when do you figure Bush will launch that Active Military Unit into action?

I watched a bit of it, too much pomp and ceremony for me, anyways I like Obama but this was too much like a Roman Emperor taking office.

I'm going to go with 8 years from now. Although 4 has an outside chance...
We know you aren't happy about Obama winning, give those that are their day.

YEAAAA....try an back that little statement up. That should be funny. Especially when I said I liked Obama as far back as 2 years ago when most of the dingbats here couldn't have picked him out of a line-up.

Awesome! I liked him early on as well. Never really took a liking to any of the other democratic nominees.
For me, I was introduced to him back in 2004 when he gave his speech at the DNC. Sure has been interesting to watch him from that point until today.
Glad to know others such as yourself are fans of the new President.
