Its a sliding scale. Maybe the eyebrow thing is just something unique to you that you noticed, but if its that plus cataloging the way they adjust their posture, analyzing the timbre of the breath they take before speaking, cramming their chosen words through a decoder because everyone lies and you need things in truth form, plus plus plus plus then yea, autism.
The exhaustion you're speaking of is the mental drain of masking, where all of this is very much real and very much going on and you have to fake like its not WHILE ALSO throwing down a high level that even a neurotypical would find very challenging. In your case I'm guessing you make good dough in a situation where appearances and people skills are paramount, which in my case would be hell.
A CEO tolerates a guy who's full of crap?

Fata, I don't want to have autism. How would one go to get it checked out. Not like there's a cure or anything.
I'm sitting here and I can tell you where every one of my co-workers are because I track them. The one guy schits at least three times a day I see his shoes because he eats a tonne of salad everyday for some reason. It's pointless yet its constantly in my head. Dumb crap that does not matter. I can do my job in my sleep. But the day is filled with chatter.

Questionnaire done and highly conclusive. downloaded link and will work through over Christmas break. Will look for ebook of Scattered Minds.

I am not sure I would dedicate to going through the workbook page by page. Do it if it helps, but I have been mostly just scanning to see what it is about.
Hey, at least you are balancing the chocolate with exercise. I am halfway there.
Seriously, though, if you are exercising, that is a significant component and the #1 thing to help with ADD. Imagine how bad you would be without exercise and that is me!!

Not to cast doubt but I would not think it is autism first. As I said it is very indicative of ADD. Like everything else, talk to your doctor.
If it is autism, it is what it is and you can deal with it. It is not a death sentence or mean you are the R word you love so much. Once you know you can learn to manage to your advantage.

Current level would be 3, heading into 4 lol
I missed so much in this thread, it took forever to catch up, so I will address some things I seen with what my thoughts are.
I was diagnosed with ADD a few years ago as an adult when I was in therapy and said "yeah I might have add" and she just said "WHAT, you ever never diagnosed? you are the definition of it" so that lead to learning more and reading. Not on medication but partially self medicate with the reefers.
As for my level of 3/4, recently my mother passed away. Was not sudden in one sense as I have been waiting for the call for a long time now but still a shock to the system. How I feel about it is what lowers my level, according to the world I should be more distraught but I look at it just as a nuisance. I have a real weird way to look at death now and while internally I feel fine, trying to explain how I feel is exhausting as everyone is worried about me, but also feel that I am bottling it up.
The reason for my outlook honestly revolves around the amount of death I have seen throughout my life, therapy, religious philosophy (I am not religious but read a lot) and then add in heavy HEAVY doses of psychedelics which has lead me where before I would have been on the atheist side of things, but now I would lean on the spiritual side since I couldn't tell you exactly what is at play so call it the universe, god, Brahman, the simulation theory, crystals, astrology, multiple dimensions... I don't know
So while I greatly miss her, it does not upset me as I know nothing of this world (Maya) is permanent or necessarily reality but that leads to guilt as I feel I should be reacting in a different way based on a lifetime of seeing how people react when someone dies.
TLDR: I did so much DMT that I am not as sad as I think I should be about my mother passing because Brahman told me the world is temporary and there is nothing to worry about, so I battle guilt based in my own mind and question my sanity.
Dark Humour time - when I called the funeral parlour I introduced myself as the following "Hey there I am _______, I think you might have something that belongs to me" and there was just silence on the other end of the phone....

Hey MrS9 - that was a good share.
People process stress, grieving, others opinions, etc differently. What makes one persons methodology "right" and anothers "wrong"? If your view is of a greater spiritual journey then perhaps that's the right way as it eases ones mind about something you can't do anything about anyways.

Dark Humour has saved my sanity more times than I can remember. Yeah, you might get branded as kind of dark and uncaring, but if it helps you cope then roll with it!
Laugh at a funeral. It provides strength to those who cant.
Tell stories, it helps people remember the person rather than the 'Corpse in the Box.'

His look of disgust and the woman "Jimmy's just plowing on!" make me laugh every time.

We're looking at support for his job hunt where they also help with helping him use tools to manage this for himself and other things to help with having a job which is new to him.
When my son was 8-12 we went through quite a few different meds trying different things.. we went through the same cycle of enormous hope and then not really seeing anything different quite a few times until we found the one that worked for him (Vyvanse as others have mentioned, and Intuniv though he eventually didn't need that anymore). So sometimes it is a process.
Hope you find something that helps improve things!!

Sorry, I just saw this now. Thanks for the feedback man. I've often been accused of being on the spectrum by friends. I have one friend who spent a bit of time researching my behaviours and is convinced I'm some form of autistic (he says I "info dump" all the time). I myself was convinced I had Asperger's at one point a long time ago.
I'm really looking forward to my first session on Wednesday. So many things going through my head constantly these past few weeks. I mean like more than usual lol.

Sucks so much that he's gone. 8 out of 10 Cats is still good but not nearly as good as it was with him on it. "I bent over and set off the sprinklers..." lolol.
