Zam claims his name didn’t come from the word “Zamboni”, his parents (father is Derek Plante) just wanted to give him an original name. Wish I could tell you different, lol.

By my eye, it was Wyttenbach’s best game of the season. He might be a better playmaker than scorer. He set up teammates for at least 3 grade A chances only to be thwarted by Yegorov. He is now 1 pt behind McKenna and a few others for leading scorer among freshman

One of these years there will be an actual kid named Bam Bam. I know it is coming, and I hope he plays hockey!

Would be amazing if there is top six forward potential there
exciting that he is earning time on a better team, and performing against better competition

Denver lost their captain, starting goalie and best player from last season and they are still a top team. David Carle is such a great coach and leader of that program

Strange Seeing BU and BC both so far down the list.

Especially with BU having their team made up of like 95% NHL drafted players.

Carle is an amazing coach and person. Denver never goes after “one and done” players but I’ve been very surprised that some of the big name kids from the CHL wouldn’t have gone to DU. They won’t get a better environment to excel than they would there. Very good school and city too.

Nov.21st:

Merrimack (4-6-0) defeats LIU (5-6-0) by a score of 6-2. Hoskin did not play. 10gp/4g/8a/12pts,-1, 0 PIM.

#9 Quinnipiac (7-3-2) beats Clarkson (4-8-0) by a score of 4-1. Wyttenbach picks up another assist, and was even. 13gp/6g/9a/15pts,+1, 0 PIM, tied for 26th in NCAA scoring, and tied for 5th in freshman scoring, behind RW Justin Poirier (17 points), RW Porter Martone (17 points), RW Vaclav Nestrasil (16 points), and LW Gavin McKenna (16 points).

#10 Maine (7-4-1) loses 7-3 to #15 Boston College (6-4-1), with Lipinski sporting all zeroes. 13gp/2g/5a/7pts,+4, 21 PIM.

#5 Penn State (10-4-0) is beaten 3-2 by Minnesota (5-8-1), with Misa getting all zeroes- other than 4 shots. 15gp/2g/1a/3pts, even, 0 PIM.

#6 North Dakota beats the US Team by a score of 6-1 in Exhibition play. Reschny gets no points, and was even. 12gp/2g/9a/11pts,+1, 0 PIM. Mace'o Phillips apparently played for the US, and had no points, with a -2. He also played on Friday for Green Bay of the USHL.

Littler also gets no points in the above contest (points wouldn't count for either him or Reschny though, as it was just Exhibition). 10gp/1g/3a/4pts,+3, 6 PIM.

#3 Denver (8-3-1) defeats Arizona (4-7-1) by a score of 7-1. Jamieson gets 1a, was +1, and piled up 14 PIM- 2 for hitting from behind in the first, then 2 for roughing, and 10 for excessive roughness with 12 seconds left in the third. 13gp/5g/4a/9pts,+6, 18 PIM, tied for 19th in scoring by D- what a brilliant freshman season for him.

Potter picked up 1a, but was -1 (tied for a game-high 5 shots) in the above contest for ASU. 13gp/2g/7a/9pts,-13, 6 PIM. His -13 is the worst on the team, with the next worst being Ben Kevan's -9.

Nov.22nd:

Harvard prevails 5-1 over Vermont, with Lane getting 1g, and a +1 for the winning side. 7gp/3g/0a/3pts, even, 6 PIM.

#9 Quinnipiac defeats St.Lawrence by a score of 4-2. Wyttenbach gets 1a, and was +1 for the victors. 14gp/6g/10a/16pts,+2, 4 PIM, tied for 25th in NCAA scoring.

#10 Maine bests #15 BU by a score of 3-0, with all zeroes for Lipinski. 14gp/2g/5a/7pts,+4, 21 PIM. He has won 116 faceoffs out of 182, which by my calculations puts his FO% at 63.7%.

#3 Denver falls to Arizona, 3-2. Jamieson gets no points, but was +1 in the loss, putting him at 14gp/5g/4a/9pts,+7, 18 PIM. He is tied for 21st in scoring by D in the NCAA.

Potter gets a goal (the game-winner in OT, assisted by Jack Beck), and was even, for the winning team in the above contest. 14gp/3g/7a/10pts,-13, 8 PIM- looks like he's pulling out of his funk.

#5 Penn State beats Minnesota by a score of 2-1, with Misa getting all zeroes. 16gp/2g/1a/3pts, even, 0 PIM.

Mckenna now up to 4-14-18 in 16 gp. he's getting into 2 pts/game territory if he wants to put up some "wow" numbers for the rest of the season. Don't think he's going to get there.
