I think the problem playing the Oilers trying to limit taking penalty, and end up not playing physical. The refs will call penalty Oilers opponents no matter what, they can dive all over the place and refs will buy it. Panthers should just play the way they've been playing, physical and in your face, if it end up being a penalty so be it.
The problem is the officials tend to feel sorry for the Oilers (who bitch and complain) when a game goes against them where a couple penalties were key factors.
Then instead of making them suck it up and play more disciplined they overcompensate the other way the next game and give them a glut of opportunities.
Some of you who I assume are "die-hard Flames fans" really need to get your s**t together, while some of you are shockingly close to going off the deep end but not quite there yet.
Disgusting how many Soiler fans come crawling out from under their rocks this time of year. It wouldn't bother me if this wasn't a "Flames" fan forum.
Lots of Flames fans here are picking the Oilers. They’re rolling and have hammered the opposition so far. Granted, Florida will present their toughest challenge and could win.
Marchand wants a second touch of the cup; would be incredible 14 years apart! If Marchand whelps Panthers beat the Oilers in the SCF, we owe him big time for beating the Nucks and the Oil when we needed those teams to lose the most.

I haven’t been following. Are these people all cheering for the Oilers?
I don't know why that is shocking. Vegas has the Oilers as the slight favorite to win the cup.
It'll probably be a really close series unless Skinner falls apart or McDavid goes into god mode. I was much more confident last year though in Florida, just because of the extra revenge motivation the Oilers will have.
I'm not picking either team, but I'm prepared for the worst to happen.
