Lethbridge is totally Oilers heavy, and I'm not surprised you got that in a Canadian Tire. But, don't worry, I wore my "Oilers Suck" shirt out and got some very positive comments!

I have no problem with no suspension if Barkov plays.
I understand it's stupid to base suspensions on injuries.
I also understand it, this time of year.
Friedman speculating draisaitl is hurt. Good. Finish every single hit on him. Make him suffer
Honestly, its like clockwork. Oilers lose 2 games in a row? "McLotteryball or Crysaitl have to be hurt" No possible way it could be that the other team is better.
The sooner these guys move onto another team the better, the fanboy media fawning over these guys has gotten beyond ridiculous.

I don’t think the league wants this to continue to escalate with more dirty plays. They need to get control of this series
So what counts as shenanigans? Nothing that would require supplemental discipline? That's fair.
So just to be clear, you are okay with someone from Florida leaving their feet and htting McDavid in the jaw with their elbow, as long as they get 2 minutes for it?

Just keep going as is. Hopefully Barky's back for 3 and 4, and hopefully the score is lopsided enough in Game 4 that someone can just grab Bitchsaddle at center ice and beat the tar out of him during the last minute of the game.
That plus the Cup celebration in front of Greaserville would be astronomically awesome.

This is some great satire

If I'm Florida, I go head hunting on McDavid or Draisaitl assuming Barkov is too hurt to play game 3. Get one of your fourth liners to absolutely launch into a hit elbows up. Take the suspension and the 5 minute major.

I would just target McDiver, 5 minutes PP without McDiver running it, Oilers won't score. But with Pissy out of the game, they still have McDiver.
Could have been 3 suspensions to the Oilers last night, but of course there is none.
The positive...Should have been a suspension to the Oilers in the second round on the hit from behind on Petterson and it wasn't even discussed. At least they are talking about this. Baby steps, bush league.

So the knee, butt end and elbow to the head last night doesn't make Edmonton a dirty team as well? I'm seeing just as much action that is questionable/over the line from the greasers as I am the Panthers.
It's the SCF - everyone is playing full out and on the edge. The Panthers are just better from top to bottom than the Oilers team of 5 players, and it's getting at everyone in Oilers jerseys from the inferior team on the ice to the toothless, sweatpant wearing fanbase looking for a scapegoat.

Edmonton Oilers forward Sam Carrick has been fined $2,213.54, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for slashing Florida Panthers defenseman Dmitry Kulikov during Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final in Florida on Monday, June 10, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
"slashing"
...in an upwards trajectory into the nuttal area, starting from knee-height between the legs?
From an NHL.com article... (it's about how happy Tkachuk is to be in Florida, and I skipped over all that stuff. I don't want to read about that, I'm only interested in the impact he's had and what players say about him)

Getting Tkachuk seemed to be the final piece of the puzzle.
“I mean, if you watch Matthew Tkachuk play hockey and then you watch our team, it wasn’t a great leap to think this is a pretty significant add that can come in, and he brings that energy and enthusiasm,” Florida general manager Bill Zito said. “I think he was 24 at the time, a younger player still coming into his prime and he’s a big-moment guy. I can’t tell you that I was going to be sitting here today (in the Cup Final for a second straight season), but that’s the goal.”
Many of the Panthers players were surprised when Zito acquired Tkachuk. Bennett said he had to FaceTime the power forward, his good friend while in Calgary, to see if the trade news was true. Florida forward Ryan Lomberg said it was “crazy” when they got Tkachuk, but they he figured they were getting something special.
“Losing ‘Huby’ and (Weegar), our 100-point guy and our top-pair [defenseman], and I remember telling one of my buddies we might lose more regular-season games but we’re going to win more playoff games, and that’s exactly how it’s played out,” Lomberg said.
“Obviously you’re losing two incredible players, two incredible people, but to get a guy like ‘Chucky,’ you guys have seen the impact it’s had on our franchise. It’s more than just on the ice; it’s the person he is, the leader he is, the culture he brings just by being who he is. It’s something that’s very, very rare and unique. Bill called him a unicorn when he first got him, and I think that’s pretty self-explanatory.”
Edit: He's had a very quiet, very disciplined, very 200'-focused playoffs... yet still leads the team in points. Crazy. The way he chased down McDavid on that breakaway in the 3rd last night, disrupting him without taking a penalty... that's a new kind of Tkachuk.

I'm in a golf tournament in Spruce Grove for work on the 18th. It's the Spruce Grove Saints tourney and it's full of a bunch of Oilers loving hockey folks. They've moved the start time to 1:00 pm in order to be done on time for puck drop of game 5 with a watch party set up after. Man it would be nice to pull out the red golf shirt with the series already over. Come on Panthers, help me out.

Lets be honest Tkachuk has done F all in the finals...not good news for the Oilers though considering its 2-0. He did look to be coming on in the third.
