Don't even start a fight unless it's fighting dirty pissy.

I think its even better for them to target Mcdavid rather than Pissy. Then when he starts whining you can tell him to blame his buddy for it

We may not get a suspension but watching cross eyes tap out was a nice consolation prize

Nah, it’s only the Oilers that have the green light. If any Florida player did what Draisaitl did, they’d definitely be suspended at least a game or two. The Panthers have to ignore this, move on, and just keep doing what they’re doing. Don’t get sucked into any of the Oilers’ bulls***.

don't target anyone, just keep doing what's been working so far and finish the job. Losing your cool and giving them PPs is exactly what shouldn't happen.

The NHL is a joke.
Nope.

There has long been considered a League Conspiracy involving the Oilers, however, greaser fans have always been under the woefully misguided impression that it was against them.

When the exact opposite is true.

This is pretty clearly the NHL trying to rile the Panthers into running around and losing their discipline to get the Oilers some more Powerplays because, as we've all seen, the Oil are dogcrap 5-on-5.

Stay the course. Maintain discipline. Punish the Oilers later.

That is complete BS. He broke at least 4 major rules and the hit resulted in an injury.

Leaves his feet.
Hits vulnerable player.
Primary point of impact was the head.
Hits with the elbow.

If it was Draisaitl out, we'd never hear the end of it. This isn't the first time Draisaitl has made a hit like this either. He's a complete spot picker and loves to run guys along the boards when they aren't looking.

I think you just play them hard. Finish every check, keep your cool after the whistles. Kane got it to 4 on 4 last night just trying to start something with Montour. Especially with the guys that might be nursing something, Draisaitl, Nurse. Hit them every chance you get

sure, play them hard. Just don't get sucked into doing something stupid.

They've been suffocating the Oilers ever since that first period of game 1. They're the more complete team, just have to keep their cool and trust their game.

I think the league wants this going 6/7 games

But if it does, it seems like half of each team is going to be injured.

The Oilers had an extraordinarily easy path and aren't on FLA's level (with all players healthy). Don't let them off the hook after all the breaks they've had. Deal justice to Leon and let FLA put the paper tigers out of their misery.

They got McDavid to the finals, mission accomplished.

I think the consistent responses from Maurice and the players is promising. Dont take the bait, use it as fuel in the room.

Yeah I think the Panthers just need to keep their discipline, or at least just wait until they're up a few goals in the 3rd period of game 4 going for the sweep. Then it's time to really get dirty, imagine the last memory of pissy in an Oiler's uniform is him getting beat down by Lomberg.

When thr oilers lose they will be the first team to not shake hands in thr lineup after their loss.....sealing them forever as the biggest bunch of losers to be gifted the easiest path through and still lose.

Takers are losers and some things never change.

I'm not too interested in retribution in the form of a fight. Win the cup in Edmonton and the Panthers get all the retribution they need when they skate it around the ice.

THAT'S what they deserve.

The league needs to get off their asses and release a statement to clarify that no shenanigans will be tolerated in game three. Florida is a dirty team and I can totally see them trying to get revenge on one of Edmonton stars for Drai’s borderline hit. He got a penalty for it, which was justified, but that’s all.

I don’t think the league wants this to continue to escalate with more dirty plays. They need to get control of this series

Exactly. Pissy has never been in a fight. The threat of it in the warmups should be enough to distract him.

At Company Golf tournament Thursday and will be surrounded by Oilers Fans. I'm hoping for a beat down of epic proportions by Panthers.

I wish I had a panthers jersey to bust out on the course and dinner after.
