At 25 I have no fear of him learning how to handle the puck like it's not a hot potato elsewhere, nor do I think he'll learn to pass a puck or hit the net either.
Duehr hasn't been great but I'm not sure what to expect out of his his 8 mins playing time a night and he has 3x the hits/60, he's a plus player he doesn't cost $2.3m.
Duher is last in xGF%
Last in xGA60
Worse than Dube in xGF60
I'm not planning Dube's parade, but he's not the guy to bump if Coronato comes back up.
As I said if arguing with Bingo is not allowed fair enough, I was under the impression that it was allowed. I posted the reason for calling him a liar, but if people think it is so bad then I will take it back.
As for derailing threads, that is not true. I only respond to people talking to me. Again something that is normally allowed on message boards and is a big part of the point of them. If that is different here then fair enough but that is not mentioned anywhere.
I have had plenty of good conversations so saying nobody here is interested in tolerating "my schtick" is way overboard.
That's some of the BS people are talking about. Who said that? I argue with people all the time. Don't often get called a liar.

When people bring up that I am arguing with the site owner here:

Whats that old saying? if you dont like it or disagree, you always have the choice to leave.
And if you read what I said I defended the fact that from what I have seen you have never behaved in a way that people can't debate with you. I didn't think that was something you wanted, demanded or enforced.
So there is no BS it was responding to a point brought up by another poster. But you are probably correct that the "BS people are talking about" is more often than not made up narratives rather than things that actually were said.

How can you toss out the term "liar" when you're misquoted or misinterpreted, and then come up with "can't argue with Bingo" when someone is just pointing out who I am?

You may be lying there right?
I never came up with can't argue with Bingo, I said that is not what I thought was the case on the site when someone criticized my post saying that I am arguing with the owner and can leave if I don't like it.
So what are you implying that I might be lying about? Are saying that I lied about it being ok to argue with you?

Spin spin spin ... not lying ... but spin spin spin

Never seen anyone this bad at taking a hint. Sounds like piling on, but you need to stop posting for a while. Or don't be a dick. Either way.
It's not about rules at this moment. It's about a little decorum and basic respect for everyone on here. We don't want to read your ####.

My issue with Dube is that he takes a half season to get going. I have no doubt he's going to be better in the 2nd half of the season as he's done the past few years but that's not good enough. I don't think the Flames are a better team by trading him as he's quality depth and that will be tested depending on the Lindholm resolution which will come to a head by the trade deadline.

Dube’s never gonna be more than what he is. We’ve been waiting long enough for him to truly “pop off”. He’s a middle six forward at best
You understand that every team REQUIRES middle 6 forwards right? He costs $2.3M, and using the 10 points for every million (admittedly weak) rule, he is fair value.
Why do fans have to run players out of town all the time?

Alright, post your trade proposals for Spurs. I hear HFBoards is looking for more posters... I kid, though.
I wish we could keep any discussion on topic in any of our channels. There's just so much bickering back and forth not related to hockey that it makes for difficult browsing.

Plus a middle six forward by definition is a guy who can possibly play second line. That's a pretty good hockey player. That's Coleman.
Especially at his price point, there are a lot of teams that would probably love a Blake Coleman. He and Backlund are so valuable to the Flames. Probably could be even moreso if the Flames move on from their UFAs and bring in more youth.

I think the problem with Dubé is he occasionally shows flashes of being capable of more than that, so I can see how it could be frustrating to some people

I suspect that's most middle six guys. It's also why middle six guys who "flash" in high exposure situations (eg POs) get paid too much later on.
