Right. The team put on a show fancy stats wise, and we won the divsion. The Kings never put on that kind of show. The only real difference from last year to this year will be Johnny. If we make it in though, anything can happen with DS.

It is starting to feel like if Treliving doesn’t do something to keep this team competitive then Tkachuk is probably on his way out the door.

I think this team needs to rebuild anyways so I am fine with that, but ownership will never give that the green light.

Maybe my evaluation of Girard is ill-founded. I'm not really sure, but what else is out there for cap-tight teams that could pop and become a top-pair D-man? Who are our targets?

Don’t disagree, just think our top 6 forward group needs the additions right now.

If we go into the season as is I think it’ll be a rough season in terms of generating offence.

But there’s still time to put some work in on the forwards and they have some cap space now.
