I’m vaxed, whole family is, and completely fine to go to a game proving it or not. I show a ticket, what’s one more thing.

I hope to not have to one day though. The gap between current rates and herd immunity won’t be fixed by convincing the unvaccinated that they are stupid. It will be by ditching the righteousness and listening.

AHS was delivering results in 24-48 hours in May, while administering ~17,000 tests per day. I'm no expert but I'm assuming these were PCR tests and would likely have similar turnaround times today.

We may get to a point where Covid is like the Flu, if we don’t get a high percentage vaccinated, we are several years away from that, in all likelihood.

Can we all take several more years of restrictions, semi lockdowns, masking and economic impact? I don’t think we can.

The alternative is that everyone gets vaccinated, and we can probably go restriction free starting sometime around Christmas, likely forever.

What did you do in the 48 hours between getting the test and going to the game? If you isolated, fine.

BTW, a private PCR test in Calgary is $165. I hope you are not advocating that these are free tests just because people are obstinate about 2 free shots.

I mean that isn't surprising. Alberta's official stats bear out that fully vaccinated people are getting Covid just at a much reduced rate and that unvaccinated people have a higher risk of infection severe outcomes.
