I don't have a problem with what they said. Brutaly honest and to the truth.

Yes I am. The officiating was a #%^*ing disgrace. They let everything go in the third and called two bull$&@ penalties late in the period that had nothing to do with scoring chances.
A total joke.

Bartkowski shouldn't see another minute. Brouwer should literally be sent home. He's just terrible and his only good trait is being big and being able to screen the goalie but he hasn't deserved a second of pp time.
Versteeg has out played pretty much the entire bottom 6 and a few guys in the top 6 including Frolik and Tkachuk. As bad as the reffing has been, a lot of the team hasn't shown up.

How dare you critique the Flames? Don't you know that it doesn't make you a fan?
No, a 'real' fan just blames the refs.

The review was to see if the puck went in, as I don't believe the ref saw it. If it was ruled no goak for incidental contact the faceoff comes out of the zone, which did not happen.
Now it seems the ref is saying TO said no goal, and TO is saying the ref made the call.
I have no doubt this was not handled properly. Perhaps it didn't impact what the call would have ultimately been, but something wonky happened.

Either way it is beyond low from the standpoint of backstabbing a colleague and creating additional drama the Flames don't need right now when this undoubtedly gets back to the team.

If I were to say rude things about co-workers outside of work and somehow those comments became public, you better believe I'm going to get in trouble. Whether or not the person meant for those comments to become public doesn't matter. They are, and it's incredibly irresponsible.

They are going to call that one every time, and Kesler doesn't even need to embellish it.
Anaheim is an opportunistic team that got lucky tonight. Flames I thought did 'fine' the first game, and tonight they were the better team without a doubt. Sometime you lose games that you are supposed to win. The silver lining is that they are outplaying the Ducks. The series isn't over.
I have been very critical of Brouwer lately, but I thought he had a good game. I can see why Gulutzan is using him seemingly too much - Flames are having a hard time on the draw. I am not a big fan of his game, but he is playing well enough that you have to keep him in the lineup for his faceoffs alone.
Feel bad for Bouma. Just an unlucky bounce. You can see how upset he was at it.
Flames just need to play exactly this way again at home, and they will win. They out-skated the Ducks, and won a tonne of puck battles - more than I thought they were capable of doing against the Ducks. Flames just need to wear them down. Ducks are starting to look like a tired team - a fricken' lucky team, but a tired team nonetheless. If I am Gulutzan, I am telling my players to finish every check on Lindholm. He is the last key cog left on the decimated blueline.
I like how Monahan is starting to look effective even with Kesler draped all over him. That's goals in consecutive games for him.
Flames just need to stay a bit more composed, but I thought they did a MUCH better job in that area tonight than in the first game. A much more mature team. Just a few instances where I thought they lost their composure, but this is also on the refs as well. If you aren't going to call something early on in the game, then don't call it halfway through the first period.
And please, start calling those picks. This isn't basketball refs. They are blatant interference penalties that the Ducks have gotten away with for years now.

Also, that is not Ball or Millions in the video, that's pretty clear. Maybe some technical guy up in the booth packing up?

No, blaming them is.
Calling out the atrocious, completely inconsistent officiating is calling a spade a spade.
I watched several games in the last 48 hours where the whistles went away when it was tied. The calls at the end of this game were a joke.

If they're still mic'd, they should be representing their employer with the highest discretion. This isn't a podcast, it's being broadcast live to an enormous audience. Malfunctions and leaks happen... just ask Millions.

Considering they were off the air and have convo's like this all the time, they didn't Ball and Garrett didn't say anything that was out of line. Ball thoughts that the series may already be over isn't offside.

agreed x 1000 .... series is over? watch the other series and catch up on your rest. Ill join the series is over camp if we get outplayed in our barn but we could be up 2-0 just as easily if officating was on display as player activity was.
I hope Glen has a rabbit up his hat and Johny has been mr nobody because of his match up. I want to see Johny go off for 2 and fire up the team. I also don't rule out changing Ferland to the 3rd line. I am the biggest Ferland fan there is but he is more effective come playoffs to bruise the other team than he is to snipe. Hathaway, Ferland and X on home ice would spark the team the way Kassian did for the oilers.... down 2-0 and Stajan is not playoff built while Brouwer is still a mysterly.

Disagree. First two lines were great, generating chances all night and scoring the two goals (except for gaudreaus pass). Gio and Brodie were great (except for that penalty).
We get a lucky bounce to win the game and everyone's negative narrative would be the opposite.

They're still in the broadcast booth, at the arena. If they were at home having a few beers you might have a point. They might have clocked out but they're still at the job site.

Then have the conversation in the elevator or on the trip back to the hotel. Not in the room with the mics and the satellite uplink.
