Oh man, I like you a poster so I won't do the typical CP war of escalating words in a disagreement, but it's a ridiculous notion because of what Rubecube pointed out;
What are people supposed to protest? Police officers killed in the line of duty is very unfortunate but the only thing people could be protesting is......criminals, and last time I checked the only people who are on the pro-criminal side is criminals, and I doubt a protest is going to do anything to them, lol.

The mayor of North Charleston, North Carolina said Tuesday a police officer will be charged with murder for allegedly shooting a black man eight times in the back as he ran away. The Post and Courier newspaper said it has obtained video recorded by a bystander of Patrolman 1st Class Michael Thomas Slager shooting Walter Lamer Scott in the back as he ran away from the officer last weekend. The Courier says it will release the video soon. Scott, who is black, had a warrant out for his arrest and ran from a traffic stop before Slager, who is white, shot him. The state's Law Enforcement Division said it is investigating whether Slager acted lawfully.

There was some sort of scuffle at the start of the video, and the guy shuffling away and being shot in the back only proves his guilt. Why was he running away?

Really makes you wonder how often this actually happens in the States with no one filming where it just goes down as "officer kills black man in self defense" and no one bats an eye because it's a very believable scenario?
Hey, I'm clearly not an expert, having never fired a gun in my life, but if ever a situation called for shooting someone 8 times, it would be while they were running away from you after a traffic stop.
